Hambone...and yes like all good rednecks we have a couch on our porch : )
Actually DH insisted putting it out there for the "kids", they demolished the cushion in no time, but Hambone uses it to climb onto his house so we can't move it now!

He's VERY food oriented and found that he could reach the bowl quicker if he didn't have to get all the way down....

I just love seeing everyones pets...dogs, cats, deer, birds...all so cool. How will we ever pick the best one?

Gumlla - I followed your story on those kittens and you have done such an amazing job with them, they look great!

This is me and Buck, our rescued Neopolitan Mastiff. I really like this picture, it shows just how big
ole Buck was. Unfortunately, we had to put Buck to sleep after only having him for 3 years.
Buck got so old he just wasn't able to walk anymore. We still love ole Buck though!

Lilystorm.....that might be the funniest picture I've seen in a long time. My husband
and I laughed and laughed. To bad you didn't have that one on video!

San Jose, CA

I wish I had it on video too, GSkinner. I didn't choose it for our Christmas card, but I think I'm going to include a newsletter with outtakes from the photo session. It seems too funny not to share with friends and relatives.

Shepherd, TX(Zone 8b)

This was my cat Spider...she was hilarious and my favorite. I think she thought she was people. She was as bad as a three year old having to have her nose in everything I did, and knew no fear and had no enemies. One of her favorites hangouts was the bathroom. If she wasn't asleep in the sink, she was playing in the bathtub. She was facinated with watching the water go down the drain. Don't ask, 'cause I never understood it either!

Typical of her...she loved rolling in the drive while I waited with my daughter for the bus.

Fat Cat had that name for a reason. She knew she had it made.

Awwww, such a cutie! Look at those blue eyes.....

Tillamook, OR(Zone 8b)

WOW, everyone's friend's are too cute! What a tough job to judge these!!!

I have one more that's too sweet, when we had the boston pups, my poor Great Dane who has never been able to have pups for some reason, decided that theses babies were going to be hers! SHe tried and tried to nurse them and wouldn't let mama BT come close to her babies! If we left her alone for one second, she would be in the room sneaking the puppies away!! She was so amazingly gentle with them even though she was about 500 times larger than they were...

Oh my gosh! There are so many great photos here -- how can anyone begin to pick one? Although I'm not personally a cat person, the picture by Rose318 of Calie and Nubbie in the basket is my favorite one...

Good luck to everyone!

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

Yep, I agree Gretchen.....
