My very first JMG bloom

Modi'in, Israel

...and I thought I'd have to wait til next spring for flowers off of this little baby plant. I only put it in the garden last week. I think he likes his new home :-) I'm going to be up and looking early each morning now. I didn't see this one til I came home late this afternoon. But there are 5 or six little buds on it, so I'll be getting a few more flowers yet. :-)

Very pretty, Julie. Do you usualy get late summer blooms this time of year? If so, lucky girl!!

Our fall is very very mild....more like summer for many in the northern US. So we get blooms well into November for most summer flowering plants. But the MG was just put in as a baby and I think it got confused. The MGs around my neigborhood are definitely slowing down in flower production. But for us Osteospermum is a winter/spring flowering plant, so those bless us with blooms throughout the cooler weather. :-)

Thanks everyone. :-) It sure was impossible to miss when I got upstairs to that little garden. The little guy is hidden behind a pretty large Salvia and yet it just screamed out "I'm HERE!" LOL So pretty!
