2ND WEEKEND CONTEST OF FUN!!

Lets make this more interesting, thanks to Gretchen's great pics!!


Rules:
Take a picture with the sky predominately in the background.
The picture should have only 1 subject in it. A few VERY small additional distractions are fine.
Must be a picture taken this weekend.
Enter as many times as you wish!
Must be taken by the Daver who posts it.
Only real skies allowed unenhanced.

If tie votes, there will be a run off vote.
I retain right to post more rules if I missed a biggie! LOL

The best liked by the brug public gets a rooted L'Amour or 2 fat trunk pieces of Old Yella. Winner's choice! If you live out of the US, we will talk about an appropriate prize, maybe special seeds!

We will vote for the winner tomorrow starting at 6 PM Sunday and ending at noon Monday. If you won't be around then, sent your vote to me via Dave's email system.

Gee kell...I am trying to do some other things this week-end, and here you have me lying in the driveway under the flag to get a photo with only one item in it and the sky!

Well, even if I don't qualify to accept a prize (plants over border law), with competition like this, I wouldn't stand a chance anyway, LOL. But I still want to play and since you don't have any foggy, cloudy type skies, I thought I'd post too.

Gosh, maybe Kell would offer some seeds to those in Canada. I'm betting she could find one or two in her yard someplace and if not, I could find some. Oh Kell.............

Sure Brugie, I bet I can come up with some special ones or if we aren't allowed to send them, I bet we can sweet talk Miss Lizzy into it!

does a butterfly disqualify the pic lol??? I didn't know about the contest but happen to take this pic this afternoon of my bougenvilla blooms(spelling)

Far be it for me to say a poor little butterfly would disqualify such a beautiful pic. (esp. since I am about to sneak in 2 palms) We will let the judges (all of us) decide!! LOL You have all day tomorrow to get more, Donna!

Took this picture today. It was a perfect day. The kind you only get a few of a year. not hot, not cold with a nive breeze and not a cloud in the sky.

The moon is missing you doofus, Brugie!! LOL. Maybe I will want a fresh made pie! LOL

Thanks, it's a glass ball. I collect spheres and hang them all around my garden and in the windows. Some of the big glass X-mas ornaments look really cool.

Good grief, Dick, this hummingbird/brug photo is just wonderful, it's sooooo good it doesn't look real. The brug is just enchanting!! I also LOVE the Lone Star photo, dstartz, it is just SUPER!!!
