Oh Doris, they are seeds of Desert Rose! A very pretty plant but I believe seedlings of this do not form the huge bulbous truks very easily. Look at them here

Hah, That's kinda along the lines I was thinking but the pic was too fuzzy to be positive.

Those are cool plants Doris . I did not know they would start from seed so easily. I just might try them one day.

First I gotta see if I can get my Cardboard Sago seeds to germinate and keep em alive. One experiment at a time for me.

I'll bet when they were just tiny seedlings, they could have been easily mistaken for datura. I can see where the trunk is starting to thicken more. These are unusual plants. I ordered some this year from a co-op and of the four I got, only one died. That is remarkable for me. Give them lots of sun and not much water during the winter.

brugie I got these as seeds, funny thing is I have the Adenium Rose, just didn't connect the name DUH, mine has the very large bulb above the soil, has not flowered yet though
