Here is my 23 year old cat, K.C. (Kitty Cat) We found her half drowned in a creek bed back in early 1982.
She has been a wonderful mouser over the years. Each morning we would find a bit of her leftovers lying by the back door.
She is deaf now and quite feeble but she still yowls a morning greeting each day.
She has been an outside cat all of these years, however for the past 10 years she has had her own insulated and heated cat house. She does not like to be inside at all.
Our other cat and our dog have a pet door to enter and leave the house but K.C. has never tried to come in it. I guess she just likes the wide open spaces.
My daughter tried to take her with her when she moved out but K.C. did not like that either so she had to bring her back here.
K.C. Passed away on December 12, 2004. She was a great friend.
