I can sympathize with your puter dying as one of mine did Friday night. I already knew it was on it's last let (circuit) and my new motherboard arrived in the mail Friday. Glad I have more than one hd as windows messed up the file system on my boot drive so I had to install on another drive and then fix the messed up one. I also picked up a bunch of dvd's so I can backup my prized stuff. I have a total of 420Gigs of hd space between 4 hard drives so will be burning lots of dvds. Sucks to have a hard drive completely die--been through that as well. Had to start all over again. Let me know if I can help at all--I'm a professional geek and am the family "tech support".

I am just sick about the corrupted part of my hard drive containing my picture files. I lost all of my family pics along with the florals from this past year. I will getting another portable hard drive to back up to so I won't have to burn the DVD's.
