Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Hey I got 4 right lol. Did better than I thought I would. Shelly then Gretchen each got 5, Dstartz got 3 everyone else got 2 or less

A third correct. I can live with that.

Kell, thank you! I learned more about brugs doing this than I probably would have learned over the next few years just watching.

It's amazing to me that they change colors and charateristics depending on time of year, pH, etc. And the differences in calyx, leaf margins, flower position, etc. Amazing! I had no idea. But I do now and I will never look at brugs the same.

Thanks, again, Kell! Wonderful idea. I'm really glad I took a shot at it!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh shoot! I probably would have not gotten them either!! Well, we will have to think of new contest!! Any ideas? I still have the L'Amour. Perfect size to mail. Some fun for the winter blues!!

dstartz, when I was a newbie, I wanted every brug I saw. I had no discernment at all. I couldn't differentiate between brugs. It takes a while to get an eye and to figure out which shape you actually prefer and which you dislike.

Now I am very picky about what brug I let in my yard. First I do not want to bring in SB, but also I have no time for ones that do not please me.

If I had to do it all over again, I would not grab everyone I could but be more selective. They grow so big and need so much care and fertilizer. It kills me now to toss a huge brug that took up so much room, water, soil, fertilizer and time!

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

hahaha, I got 1

Thanks Kell, you keep us all inspired. Wish I lived close enough to raid your trash pile.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

lhughes, I am with you, kell it was fun, I didn't expect to win since I have never yet seen a bloom, and you all talk about how they change their flushes, but I will one of these days, and it blows my mind to think of how many you have, and blooming.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I didn't even try to guess, but I loved No. 8, and now that I know it is Rosabelle I'm doing a happy dance, because I have her. I haven't seen her bloom yet, so was hoping that was her. Now I want Susanne, ForeverMorr and Sexy Lady, but most of all I want Shirley's big double pink. Hope I'm not too old to take care of them by the time they are available. LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

You like softer ones don't you, Sylvia. Rosabelle is so soft and has a great from. You will love her.

All on your list are very special and all look very different! Later I am going to do a picture show on Sexy lady. A great Susie brug!!

We need to think of another fun thing for next weekend! I have a few L'Amours to go!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9b)

Beautiful photos. I love the pinks.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

That was fun, Kell! Really makes you look at all the various nuances of the different cultivars!

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Make it a little easier next time will ya, Kell . . . . . please.

San Jose, CA

i really like #8 sexy lady. at first i thought it was susanne because it was suppose to be big but then i compared the photos from other threads and then concluded it was sexy lady. wish you could do a comparison shot of all the flowers above together (like the ones on the abads site with all the frosty look-a-likes and the versicolor peach look-a-likes).

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

This was so fun Kell!!! Thank you for doing it!
