A neighbor wants some of my summersweet bush for the damp corner of her yard. Does anyone know if she can put it to ground now? Would it be better if I dug it up for her in the spring?
Clethra Alnifolia
Hmm...in 6b I would think that it's OK to move the plant now as long as the ground is mulched well after planting.
I would think that either time is OK where you live.

Do you think if we planted a few of the seedlings in her area and topped them with pine needles or leaves for the winter it would be ok?
