Seeds To Trade for SASE

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

I just remembered the ex took the pickup and I don't have a hitch on my old buick. So instead of an envelope, I will just box myself up in a giant package. With a package of sandwich cookies and some freshly dug carrots. And a slicker, it is raining here and the box could get soaked. If you don' thear from me in three days, call my mother LOL

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

Sounds like a plan to me! It is raining here, too so be sure to bring that slicker!

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

While I have you here, Tamara....please try to explain to me, why I ordered 1/4 of an ounce of Flame Tomato seed? That is a lot of seeds! I think sometimes, that part of my brain, has different plans, and it doesn't let the other part..know what the plan is...

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

You must be ambidextrous, meaning you use both sides of the brain equally...

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

I don't know..I don't feel as if, there is much communication going on, between the two sides..

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

1/4 oz of Flame - a drop in the bucket girlfriend - those are the best!!!

Tomatoes - melon - balsam + sage! You've been holding out on me! I am laughing so d--n hard I dang near peed my pants!

I missed you guys today. Spent the day w/JRush in CT - she took me to a tropical nursery. OMG - Fortunately we got lost (x4) and it took us forever to get there so we only had an hour and a half to browse. But you'd be proud - I did manage to spend over $50 and have some of the CUTEST babies...and just ya'll just wait 'til they have babies...

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

EXACTLY MY POINT, and it is genetic.... my father, myself, and at least one of my sons... no kidding here

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

Now that I think about it..I am pretty sure my Mother did this, too...You may very well, have a point!
So what did you get? Only $50.00! I am in awe, just think of the damage you could have done, if you had not gotten lost! So Flame is a good variety of tomato? Part of my mind, must have known that...maybe I planned to grow lots of it and sell them? That plan seems familar to me....

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Honest Melva - I have exactly 50 varieties of tomato seeds and the Juanne Flamme is in my top 5. If these are the same you will love them - start early and finish late. They average abbout 2 ounces, are neon orange on the outside, with a rosy red inside - very mellow tasing and make the PERFECT tomato plattter. Oh, yeah - did I mention it produces wellllllllllllllll over a hundred tomatoes?

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

I still have seeds! I keep finding more, so please send me an envelope! Make it, a big one....

Bryson, QC(Zone 4a)

melvatoo, sent the American stamps $5.00 and a large bubble envelope.
Thank-you
Blessings, Ingrid

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

Have you gotten my care package yet? Hope it helps! Look forward to getting whatever you sent. I hope you have a better memory than I do.
Tamara

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

Not yet, but last time I checked, the mail wasn't here yet..I did get Janet's package, thanks Janet! for the seeds, and the envelopes, and the dead looking plant (my DH asked if it was dead, I told him, NO!) I stuck it in some dirt for right now.

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

I was going to send you choclate, but then feared it might melt and make a mess...

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

Tamara, I got your package.thank you! And I got the one from ZZtopsoil, thanks for that one, too! I haven't been able to get outside and collect Lemon Balm seed and get plants due to trouble with my back...I am hoping to get some things tomorrow...

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

take it easy, I think the weather will be yucky tomorrow...

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

Bad news..I just found, two more, gallon size, zip lock bags, just stuffed with seeds...So please, I need more people to send me an SASBE and help me..Please!! Cherish, are you listening? Go ahead, send me another envelope, I am begging you!

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

Oh, you poor thing. Go and get you some Sillk Chocolate Millk, that's what I have when I am stressed. Bad news for you, and good news for the rest of the seed trading world. :^}

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

I don't know, Tamara, but I get the feeling you are making fun of me...LOL

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

Fun? Is that what you call it. Well, sounds like torment to me. If you could only see MY stack of seeds, and they just keep coming in the mail. I can REALLY relate to what you are going through. Remember when I found smut on my corn, then was up late on the computer after OVER-consuming some Silk Choc Milk? Just thought maybe you were having one of those nights...

You have such a good sense of humor. Wish I could have gone to the plant swap tomorrow. But I will be movbing dirt, bagging leaves, hauling manure, picking green beans, digging potatoes. and painting on th house this weekend.

I will make the trip one day. Keep me posted on your progress...

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

Sense of humor, so that is what you call it...I laugh, so I can't cry..maybe all the seeds have been found? Now, if I could just quit buying more...
I will let you know how the plant swap goes...it should be fun, it always has been in the past...
And yes, you will have to make the trip down here, some day, so we can meet, face to face.
I will be thinking of you this weekend, all your projects ....

HI,
Do you have any herbs or vines left?
Thanks,
Jan...

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

Yes to both..send me an SASBE and I will send you back what I have...

Huntington, IN(Zone 5b)

Melvatoo will be busy until Thanksgiving!

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

Tamara,
At the plant swap, someone had seeds, six boxes of them! I found a package of Brandywine Tomatoes, they are not organic, but I got them, thinking of you...I got another package of Cilantro, Thyme, Salvia (several different kinds) a couple of packs of Wild Flower Mix....and someone wanted Foxglove, I got a package of those...and Petunias, there was someone looking for them...
I ended up taking Salvia plants and one Sweet Autumn Clematis...I gave all of them away, and a couple of Brugmansias..and I only came home with about six new plants...I think I did good! It was a lot of fun! I got to meet a few DG's people...all in all, it was a good day...
A friend of mine, thought we were all, going to wear Halloween costumes...she was the only one who did...a brave woman!

You did very well indeed! As I started reading your post I thought you were going to say that you brought all six boxes of seeds home!
Natasha

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

Six boxes! No way! I did bring home too many seeds, maybe 15 packages, but the majority of them, are to give away to you guys...
Here is a picture of my friend in her costume..her user name, online is flower freak...so..I told her that she was brazen to walk around with sexual organs on her head...she just smiled...the hussy!
