I keep trashing my posting before I send it, evidently 'cause it isn't here.

cherishlife - got you covered. I forgot it was in the mail. Sorry

NotMartha - Go ahead and send me your address and after the dust settles if I have some I will send it to you.

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

I believe all the boxes which were sent out today included a cutting of one or both of these

Oh yea Judy!
Thank you for sending extra stuff.
I'm so excited and can't wait to get my box.
Gina

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

GSkinner - I'm going to try my best to mail some more boxes in the morning and you are next on the list. My kitchen is so littered with "stuff" for the boxes that I have to get the job finished so I can cook. I'm going to enjoy fixing yours because I can just put in anything that I think will delight you. I am assuming that you will want at least one each of the last two items.

I've already thrown in some Hot Pepper Seeds, the cutest little bushy plant that looks good in the flower bed or pot. The peppers are not only ornamental they're also edible.

I'm just going to dance through my plants snipping as I go.

Mission Accomplished today on geting to the PO three boxes shown above.

I'm going to try my best to close this thread out in the morning by sending the below.

cherishlife -
fsr333
SuzenNH
Witch - Pending Response To 10/15 Email
julie88

notmartha - Do you want a bunch of the Pixie or whatever it is in the below discussion???

---------------------------
Purple Wandering Jew
Should have just barely enough for 3-4 cuttings for each of you.

"Fuzzy Silver/White" Wandering Jew
I'm sending well rooted sections. They don't look as good as the cuttings did, but they have great roots This hanging pot fell and the leaves were damaged.
Do you want them?

"Pixie" Wandering Jew
Little Pointed Leaf which shows up well in the Mixed Wandering Jew picture above. There is much confusion on the name but I do NOT have the Bolivian as shown on the PDB. If you leave the small leaved in the zip lock bag in which it is shipped for about a week it will root, as is. You don't have to do anything but give it light and keep it zipped.
Do you want a small, med or large amounts?

Epiphylum, probably E. oxypetalum. - see 10/16 entry for ID link
Heretofore, I've sent out rooted cutting but I do not have any more.
Do you want a piece to root? It's easy, just stick it in good potting soil

Callisia Fragrans - see 10/16 entry for ID link
I have some big rosettes but they take up a lot of room in the box.
Do you want one anyway? If you get two you won't have room for much of anything else, but I'm willing.

Philodendrom and Pothos
I still have plenty, plenty of the basic but the heavily marbled and brown velet leaf are just about gone.

Airplane/Spider Plants
I have plenty, I forgot to send out any. I have 20 hanging pots, three different varieties of these things... lol lol lol I am just going to pull out the smaller plants, wash off the roots and send those along.
Do you want any? If yes, how many? One of each? 10 of each? lol lol lol

Postage has been running $3.95, $4.55 & $5+ depending upon the zone

Let me know if you still want a box and if so which of the above.

If you just want me to use a 12x12x8 box, line it with a trash bag, cram it full of mostly Phils & Pothos, and hope for the best, let me know your $ limit on postage.

I'm going to put on my "Old Time Rock N Roll" CD, turn it up real loud, get out the snippers and get to work!!!!

Pocola, OK(Zone 7a)

Judy, you just put whatever you want to in my box and I will reimburse you for any overage. If I don't have room for them at my house, I have friends that would love to have them. The Bolivian vine is not a big deal to me, I would love to have the Pixie just as well, and if you don't have enough of that, it's not a problem. I haven't had an airplane plant in years. I would love some of those.

julie SQUEALS with delight! Oh Oh Oooooo....This is SO cool! I wasn't expecting to be "in" on this one. :-) Thanks!

I'd like some spider plant for sure, and any Wandering Jew you have available. Pothos and Philodendron would be great. I'm not familiar with the others in the list. The $5+ on the postage is fine, just let me know. Oh...and could you pack a little of the dancing energy into my package while you're at it? :-D I could sure use some. Come to think of it, I have a couple of those Old Time Rock n roll CDs in my case too...maybe I should just put them on and see what happens!

Thanks Judy!

Hi Judy,

Got mine today and it was really full. Thank you so much. They are all in water as we speak. I also put a small amount of Hydrogen Peroxide in them. That should give them an added boost.

Thanks, Jeanette

Judy,
Got mine today and already have them potted. Thank you so much, I love it all.
I really love the philodendron that is a shimery purplish color. Or is it a potho, oh heck, I don't know.
Anyway, it's my favorite. I'll have to look through the thread and get all the names to everything.
Maybe when mine get out of control I'll be able to be so sweet and offer some of them to everyone.
Thank you so very much again!

:-) Gina

Muscoda, WI(Zone 4b)

Judy...could you email me with your mail address and the amount I owe you. I can get it in the mail tomorrow (before I forget! hehehe)

~julie~

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Wait to see the condition of your plants and if you like them or not!!!

Muscoda, WI(Zone 4b)

Judy...that's NOT the deal! :-D The deal is I get them whether I *LIKE* them or *NOT*! Now send me the info!! :-D

~julie~

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Hi Judy! Mine arrived today too! They look lush and healthy and happy! Several of them grew new roots on the way. Maybe you should market your "breath in a bag" for rooting. LOL Five of my six kids are sick and the box arriving sure brightened my day. :) I'll get postage out to you right away.
THANKS!!

Pocola, OK(Zone 7a)

Julie, you can look at the postage when you get the package. She can't control that. ;-)

Muscoda, WI(Zone 4b)

Yeah....Sherri...I heard that! ;-)

~julie~

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

i got mine yesterday and some of the bigger vines also rooted in the baggy. so that makes it easy. just plant. hehe wow next time i want to root a vine put it in a ziploc. hehe

thanks so much!!!!! postage will be on its way shortly.

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Don't forget to blow it up!! I zipped them, then opened just enough to blow in air, then closed quickly. I have an experimental bag sitting on my counter. The plants, Phil & Pixie Jew, have been in it for two weeks and are rooting nicely.

Muscoda, WI(Zone 4b)

Boy...I musta missed something. We're supposed to EXPLODE out zip locs? hehehehe (Just couldn't resist that one. :-D) (I'm definitely tired...and slaphappy)

~julie~

Muscoda, WI(Zone 4b)

Judy...my package just came...uh...I'm not satisfied. I'm ECSTATIC!!! Good heaven, girl. Do you have anything left in your house? Or did you accidently send me your stuff? :-D OH my! What a wonderful surprise. The spider plants are unbelievable! I'm SO pleased to get such terrific looking plants...ALL of them!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! (Postage is on it's way!!)

~julie~
P.S. Funniest thing happened when I opened that box...I thought I heard echoes of the Everly Brothers and Pat Boone coming out. LOL

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Well you must have hammered away at the PO on more than one occasion, kareoke's package was sent 10/16 and she just got them today!!!!

I'm glad you like what you got!!! You should have had a few notes from Sam&Dave, the anti-depression music, coming out of that box. If their music can't perk you up, nothing can!!!

kareoke's package was about the same as one of my trades...took nearly 10 days on priority. Not very good service for the USPS, I'd say.

I'll open the box again and see what I hear *this* time. (Thanks Judy...you're a sweetie...and you really made my day!)

~julie~

Pocola, OK(Zone 7a)

Judy, I also got your plants today. They are in GREAT shape and are beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will be sharing some of them with my mom. Pulling them out of the box was fun, better than Christmas. You're the best!!!
Sherri

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Wonderful!!! I'm so glad you liked your "box". I tried hard to please everyone.

Yours & Julie's boxes really got there quickly, I wonder if Wed is the day everyone should mail their trades??

We'll see if the other boxes get delivered today or not. We still have these to hear about

Judy, I have most of my cuttings soaking now...I can't believe how very generous you've been with us. I'd say that you more than 'pleased' all of us. (I had to fend off my DIL for those spider plants! LOL She'll have to wait until they have babies...hehehe. I've taken the "Me *first*" attitude with these plants. ;-) )

~julie~

Hey Julie.......lol.......I do that to my mother-in-law.
She always tells me wait till everything has babies too.

Gina :-)

Muscoda, WI(Zone 4b)

LOL Gina...that's funny! Like looking in a mirror of sorts. :-D

~julie~
