I'm cutting back 18 hanging baskets of the most common of Philodendrom and Pothos, some are the Heart Shaped variety, not anything to get excited about. I estimate I will have a bushel basket of cuttings, some 8 - 9 feet long.
Please post on this thread if you are interested.
Philodendron - Common Vines
Clipping is scheduled to start tomorrow, do I have any takers????
Judy, I hate to be a pig since you already offered me the succullents, but I wouldn't mind having a couple of cuttings. Whatever you want to send. I will pay the postage. Jeanette
Judy,
I'd be intereseted in whatever you could send me. I can paypal postage to you if you'd like...
LMK
Beth
I would not mind having some. LMK the postage. I don't have the heart shaped or solid green. I really can't make out your picture except they are beautiful.
Jnette - I was going to ask before I shipped your box. (lol lol)
I also have spider/airplane plants and Wandering Jew Clippings if ya'll would like some. I'll take some pictures before I start to trim!!!
Judy,
I'd appreciate all...don't want to be a plant hog, but whatever you can spare will be well loved & cared for. I'm just getting back into gardening after some years off due to health & family problems...so, I really need to replenish, even the common stuff...
Anything you can send, please do (let me know the postage & I'll send it to your first)
Thank you!
Beth
Hi Judy,
I'd love to have all three if you have not run out yet. Let me know. Are you looking for trades or postage?
Michele
i can send postage for a little of all three if you have any left after you fill everyones above.
Please, please don't tempt me with trades..... I have far too many plants as it is!!

- Green and White - None Left

FYI I've asked for imput in regard to shipping and handling of these cutting.
Meanwhile will all the above please send me an email - Subject "Want Your Vine Cuttings". In the body of the email please give me your address. I'm just going to clip, prepare, pop in a box, so what you get is what you get. I don't think I'm capable of handling "special requests". I'm going to pack the boxes tight so you can get as much as possible and I'm guessing the postage will be $4-5 per box.

Judy, if you are from a small town, you have a P.O. box - there is no home delivery at all. When I know a box is coming, I check the mail when it comes in - about 10 am here. I would think your trader probably is from a small town. Kinda funny when you get those companies that say 'will not ship to a P.O. box so I add my physical street address and it means nothing to the USPS. Only good for UPS or FedEx, etc. :)
Yes, I used to have an address like that. It was very frustrating.
OK, I give in. I keep passing up this thread because I keep thinking I really don't have the room. I used to have some Bolivian Jew vine and absolutely loved it. I love planting it outside in the summer. As long as you can keep it watered normally, they LOVE a little sunshine. I used to bring some in every winter. I don't remember what happened to it, I think I gave it away when I moved the last time. Stupid, huh? Anyway, I guess I'm going to add my name to your list, Judy. I can send you a stamp for $3.85 for Priority mail, unless you have other plans. I wouldn't mind some cuttings of some of the other vines you have too, as long as it doesn't go over the one pound mark. If you have anything left, that is. Let me know.
Sherri
Sherri - I will have tons that will have to go in the compost pile if no one wants them. I just do not enough room to root and pot up more. (My DH will be so proud I typed that.)

I've had to do that before. Used to do it every year until we moved and I gave all but three plants to a neighbor. I got your address from the address exchange. I'll send the stamp in tomorrow's mail.
Judy,
Don't worry about sending the plants to my PO box. The post office will not deliver to my house.
Because the post office is accross the street. Me and my boys walk down the driveway across
the street and check our mail at 10:30 every day. We live in a very small community.
It's funny, this particular street we live on is only one other house, the elementary school and
2 churches. They deliver mail to any of us at home. I guess because it's just as close to walk to the post office.
You would think we could have a free PO box wouldn't ya! lol.
Gina
I typed up a big ole response then the lights flickered and off when the computer!!
GSkinner - I was going to send yours via a freight company cause there's so much (just kidding lol lol)
I'll do this - Mail packages either Friday or Saturday and will post here when they are actually at the PO. I will send to those who have a PO Box, you've convinced me
My intent is to try to make as many people happy as possible, for as all you gardeners know, what you sow is what you reap!!! (Well, unless the bugs eat it up or the dogs dig it up, etc. lol lol )
GSkinner- are you within 4 blocks of the P.O.? If so, they have to provide you with a free box. The postmaster told me that anyone can get free mail in the US. It has to be provided with a free box within 4 blocks and outside of that, you can put up a mailbox for free mail, if it's on an established route, or you can have free general delivery. Most people don't know that or would rather have their own box so they pay for it. Interesting, eh?
i am in the boonies. i have a po box due to that fact. our town is so small we dont even have a fast food restrauant. our libarery is one room. we are petioning for a grocery store here.
imzadi - goodness, but I have you beat no library, no grocery, no fast food, one small gas station with two pumps, lots of beer and lottery tickets. lol lol
Hello Judy,
If you still have leftovers after filling the above requests, I would be glad to have a few cuttings. I would be glad to have whatever you would like to send. I am particularly interested in the wandering jew. I do not have any of the ones you show in the pictures. I do have a very small phildoendon, but it has very tiny leaves... not nearly as nice as yours. I am sending you mail with my addy.
You generosity is much appreciated! It sure helps out those of us with the "want to have"and limited means to acquire them.
Blessings,
Starr
Kooger,
thats very interesting about the PO box. Not only are we closer than 4 blocks to the post office, it is actually at the end of our driveway. It's a little tiny post office, about 20x30 feet. I think I'll have to mention something about the cost. I actually did say something before and they still said we had to pay.
The cost isn't actually a big deal but when it's not your choice then it is.
Judy send on the freight truck.......lol lol
wow and i thought i was small. all i want here is a burger king. the closest one is 15 miles away. i hate it. hehe
the grocery thing is bad to as i have to take a cooler with me during the summer for the cold stuff.
i want the city back!!! just joking. love the open land i get to plant on.
Hi Judy, I had forgotten to hit the "watch thread" and just now saw your message. If you have not sent my box out and want to put some cuttings in it feel free. You sure do have a lot of them.
Thanks loads, Jeanette
I'm interested...I love jews! Especially the sparkling ones!
Do you have a postage rate? I can Paypal you...
Judy, if you have any of anything left, LMK. Please. :-D
~julie~

I will catch you next year.
