On his back looks like a light bulb(or a skull if one is in the Halloween mood, lol). He was on a palm frond and tucked his legs in and tried to hide when I moved the frond to get a better picture.

Hey, if you look at the teeny black spots on the white, it almost looks like it's two eyes and a smile, like a cartoon...

According to my bug book, it's some sort of orb weaving spider...I'll keep looking.

QueenB, I thought it was so odd that I ran and grabbed my camera. I figured it was an orb weaver, but couldn't figure out which one either.
