I collected the deadheads and
have let them dry about two weeks now,
having trouble opening the heads to
remove seeds, should I let them
dry longer, what am I doing wrong??

deller, I think this thread might help you some. They are talking about Rudbeckia seeds. Black Eyed Susan = Rudbeckia.
