imzadi,
Your message confused me - are the beans ok?

The beans would be beautiful in a jar during winter months - as a reminder of what's to come. Enjoy

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

sorry to confuse you. THE beans are fine. i got two sases back today with both containing beans. the red beans i have identified.

the purplish brown ones i am not so sure about.

both envolopes had no info in either one or who sent what.

so if the beans are a purplish brown looking bean then yes i got them .

shihtzumom,

Can I have some, Scarlet Runner Beans? (Phaseolus coccineus)

Usage: Both the pods and the green shelled beans are edible in the fresh stage and are sometimes substituted for lima beans.
The root is often eaten by Central America Indians.

Williow - you silly girl. Sure, I can spare several more. I've been sending 15-20 beans to each person for 49 cents. It's amazing what 3 or 4 beans will grow.

Hello all,
I've been so busy with work and home that I"ve been off DG for many weeks. Thank you for the nice comments. I know you'll enjoy the beans. Happy Holidays to all.
