get a cheap infar-red motion detector, mount it at the edge of your garden. install a light bulb and plug in a cheap radio to the motion detector [may need some knowledge of electrical wiring]. set the radio to loudest setting, we use a 'talk' radio station [as opposed to music/news]. in the evening and early morning if the animals get close to your stuff the light comes on and a voice booms out of no where, they run away. it has been working great, we got to eat ALL our corn this year. deidre
