Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thank you all so much. Yes, my feet are on the ground. I'm to heavy to get too far up. LOL! You all make my head swell a little though. We are are lucky to have these two seedlings from Monika and I can't wait for all of mine to bloom to see what else might be looming out there for us. Right now I'm waiting on another double to bloom. It may be open shortly. This will be from one of Kell's crosses. Thanks again for all your nice comments.

Congratulations Shirley, you'll soon have to put these things under lock and key if you keep making these dbl pinks. Or you could just send them both to my house and i'll keep an eye on them for you(LOL)!!!!

I know you can't hardly wait to see what the rest of those seedlings are going to produce. I've got one nice plant out of the same cross that you got those two from but mine is not near large enough to make a Y yet.

No, no, the genius is Monika who hybridized to get the seed that produced this flower. All I did was grow the seed. Thanks for liking it, Angela.

Bellaire, MI(Zone 5a)

I just grew my first one this summer.....it's just a plain white and I go out and look at it constantly. BUT this is the most gorgeous flower I have ever seen!! I think I'm on the way to getting hooked. It is a 10!!!!!!

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

WOW! That is beautiful, I know now why I have to jump over here from the hosta/ daylily forums. If you ever need a trade I can help you out. This is my first year with brugs. Mine is blooming again. When do they stop?
Teresa in KY

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks again. Brugs will bloom until frost when outside and maybe a little longer in the house, but they do start dropping leaves and buds when you take them in. I've learned that it is very easy to take cuttings and grow the cuttings over the winter. They will bloom just about at the same time as whole plants that have been held over. Sure takes up less space too.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Brugie and Monika, it's gorgeous! I love this one more than the first one. I love the shape and color. Sure does make up for some of the bad weather you had this summer! Wow! It's so pretty!

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)
