Shirley I had to just come in for a minute and peek again, I am just floored! I had to switch wallpaper twice this week,LOL. THANK YOU MONIKA!!!!! This is definately the "Pink Cadilac".
Wow, this is just so pretty. Shirley, has your feet touched the ground since you found these blooming. LOL I'd be on cloud 9.
This one is very beautiful,Shirley. Monika`s blessings are raining down on you. Many thanks to both of you.
Thank you all so much. Yes, my feet are on the ground. I'm to heavy to get too far up. LOL! You all make my head swell a little though. We are are lucky to have these two seedlings from Monika and I can't wait for all of mine to bloom to see what else might be looming out there for us. Right now I'm waiting on another double to bloom. It may be open shortly. This will be from one of Kell's crosses. Thanks again for all your nice comments.
Man, what a day to have been AWOL, but what fun to return to yet another beautifuly double, I LOVE the color - will this one be Monika, Jr.??? Congrats to both of you, it's soooo pretty and frilly, fragrance is a fun bonus, too!!
Congratulations Shirley, you'll soon have to put these things under lock and key if you keep making these dbl pinks. Or you could just send them both to my house and i'll keep an eye on them for you(LOL)!!!!
I know you can't hardly wait to see what the rest of those seedlings are going to produce. I've got one nice plant out of the same cross that you got those two from but mine is not near large enough to make a Y yet.
Well gotta get goig here,i'm on my way to Charleston,S.C. to see Jim Brickman in concert tonight.
Oh My Shirley !! she is so feminine looking. I really like her.
Patricia
I agree with TLynn , This is the pink Cadalac! " Mary Kay" pink. How's that for a fitting name!
Just a suggestion, as I am sure you and Monika get the joy of naming her! Congratulations to you both!

Thanks. Wish I could get the wind to die down some. I have so many brugs in bloom now. I'd like to get some pictures before the wind destroys them all.
Wow!! Those are truly some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. I thank God for giving us such talented people as yourself to help him along with his creations. You truly are a genious!
~Angela
No, no, the genius is Monika who hybridized to get the seed that produced this flower. All I did was grow the seed. Thanks for liking it, Angela.
Shirley
I can not get over this one!! Just WOW!
LOL Just wow!
hi Brugie talk about a beautiful looking brug. i would give it a number 10. you are the envy of all of us but i am sure you haveworked to achieve your goal. Now i know why i want to grow them. All ofyou have been so generous and kind God bless all of you Bob
I just grew my first one this summer.....it's just a plain white and I go out and look at it constantly. BUT this is the most gorgeous flower I have ever seen!! I think I'm on the way to getting hooked. It is a 10!!!!!!
WOW! That is beautiful, I know now why I have to jump over here from the hosta/ daylily forums. If you ever need a trade I can help you out. This is my first year with brugs. Mine is blooming again. When do they stop?
Teresa in KY
Thanks again. Brugs will bloom until frost when outside and maybe a little longer in the house, but they do start dropping leaves and buds when you take them in. I've learned that it is very easy to take cuttings and grow the cuttings over the winter. They will bloom just about at the same time as whole plants that have been held over. Sure takes up less space too.
Brugie and Monika, it's gorgeous! I love this one more than the first one. I love the shape and color. Sure does make up for some of the bad weather you had this summer! Wow! It's so pretty!
It's BEAUTIFUL Shirley!!!! Congrats to you and Monika!
