Congratulation Shirley! I like the color and it has a beautiful shape. It still could be possible, that it may darken up next year. But even if it stays that way, it has a beautiful pastel Pink.

Shirley, I love this one even better than the first one. I love the pastel pinks. I would give up every brug I have, and maybe throw in all the rest of my plants, to own this one. Sure hope my keyboard doesn't short out from the drooling.

Thanks everyone. I got past all the screaming, and constant trips to the garden to look, after the first one. I'm calmed down now. I know I'm fortunate to have the first double pink but it was God's will and Monika's help that allowed me this opportunity. I'm not only happy for me, but for everyone who grows brugs because these will eventually be available for everyone to grow in their yards. It takes time. One little brug can't be shared with 50 people. There just isn't enough to go around, so be patient. You are all great friends and I will never keep anything from you. If I wanted to do that, I wouldn't have posted a picture of this beauty. Again, thanks for being so supportive.

Mesilla Park, NM

These are gorgeous.. I am so happy for you.. now, go get that lottery ticket.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

It absolutely stunning! I don't know if I'd want this one to darken up. Everything about it is delicate & Lady-like. What a beautiful bloom!

Congrats Shirley & Monika!!! By the way, what do you 2 have planned for us next week??? LOL

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Oh good....does that mean I'm second in line??? LOLLOLOL Just kidding! I'm so happy for you Shirley....and Monika you are so wonderful to share your beauties! Those are glorious looking blooms. Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Wonder if Frank would like his name on a pink one, with ruffles yet??
It is a "girlie" brug. Thinking I like it better than the first one, heck I have never seen one yet, that I didn't like.

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Now that's a beautiful brug!
Congrats again ladies, this one is special :)
Just how many more seedlings are hiding in there, Brugie???

Whitewater, WI

Shirley, once again you have made my day. Such beauty!!!!

My hat goes off to you and Monika. A great week for brugs in the USA.
Frankly I think it should be a National Holiday. :)

Thank you, Ladies!

Clinton, CT(Zone 6b)

MY, my,...I am speechless! An absolutely stunning brug! Congratulations! I am willing to wait as long as it takes but I sure hope I can beg, borrow, buy or steal one of these in the next few years.

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

That a way to go girl. We all are proud of you and Monica for this great effort. Nice to see you with the first one and being a proud mama. Ted

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks again everyone. Again, I just grew the seed. Monika made the cross, so the expertise is hers. It isn't hard to stick a seed in soil and hope for the best, but it takes a lot of knowledge to know what to cross to make doubles.

Whitewater, WI

As always, Shirley, so modest.....Don't try to sell yourself short, we're not buying it.. lol

This was a joint effort and don't be shy about the compliments. You deserve them right along with Monika. :)

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Castlegar, BC(Zone 6b)
