Anyone have any ideas. This is new to me.
Autumn Joy and Double Impatients?
Are you wanting to know where the seeds are on these plants?
The double impatiens will sometimes make pods that have viable seeds. They are like touch me not seeds and pop when ripe. The Autumn Joy sedum seeds are fine like baby powder and are best harvested by putting a sheet of paper under the dried flowers and shaking the seeds out onto it.
I really want to save the daily bloomers seed. It is a rose and white double bicolor. Does both plants drop their seeds easily. I might try cheese cloth or something.
Bluegrass, I've started Autumn Joy from seed. As Calalily said, it is like powder. If you have already crushed the heads, just sift out the big chunks then plant what is left and trust the seed is included. Of course, most people just grow it from cuttings because it is so easy to root.
I sometimes like a challenge. Thanks
