TC -- soak and peel them. You will probably get some of them to germinate as long as they've been properly stored. I've gotten some that were over a year old to sprout...
Brug seeds
I read that seeds will germinate up to five years, but with less success than if they were fresh. There is evidently a good chance of getting some to sprout anyway and always worth a try.
