I have these growning in my front flower bed and they are such beautiful flowers. This is the first time I have grown them. I know that if I remove the dead blooms that it will extend the blooming. What I was wondering about is if I dont remove the faded blooms will they make seed pods? I have looked at a few that I have left and it seems like it might. If not then how do they produce seeds......... Thanks
Dianthus Seeds?
Mine go to seed every year provided they get pollinated. I have some coming up from seed right now. I also have the perennial that come up no matter what. I love them all.
Thanks gardener_mick. Hope mine reseeds good and comes back next year. They are all such pretty flowers that I have to agree with you on loving them all.
