A few years ago I bought a bag of Stargazers and Casablancas and gave them all to my mother in law because I thought they wouldn't do well in my front yard, which is the only part that is landscaped. I thought they were shade loving plants, and planted them in MIL's shadiest spot! Now I realize I need better info, especially since I plan on buying more for myself and would like to find out what to do with them, where to plant them and how to care for them. Does anyone know of an informative site for growing lilies that they could recommend?
Lilium websites for newbies??

Thank you, Bittsy! All the information I needed!
Indeed, some helpful information!
Claire - I think the Lily Society's website isn't the greatest for a "society" but here's a link to their Culture page:

This is from The Lily Nook - one of my favorite sites for looking at pics (they have tons shown):

I was wondering if there was a lily society. And thanks for the link to the Lily Nook--I love pictures!! I'll have to go back to the site when I have a more than a couple of minutes to drool!
