Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

That is so cute. Too bad it probably wouldn't live on it's own. Would make a cool plant for a special place. Everything looks great Bob.

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Gosh Root, the picture is cut off at the bottom, what is it?
Sure is pretty?
:)
Dee

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Willow,it is a sport growing from the root of Maya.

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

I know mama loves her little pup! Wonder if it will stay that color if you leave it alone??????

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh, Ok, So why don't yall think it will live? Do they usually expire if they are a sport? Sorry I guess I don't really know what a sport is?
:o)
Dee

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

It does not have enough green in the leaf to support life.

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

I was not thinking LOL

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Wow, that's really weird. Too bad it can't make it on its own. Could it survive indefinitely as part of the mamma plant?

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Root -- that's pretty interesting. I didn't think that they'd get that big, even living off the mama plant! And the fact that its going to bloom -- too cool! Can't wait to see the open blossom ... Gretchen

Hey, Root... Looks like it needs some "B1"...... :)~

Sorry, folks... inside joke....lol

I shouldn't be admitting this in an open forum with my DW nearby but I've always had a soft spot for "blondes"....lol I love it...

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Hey Tark,I put some pics up for ya in Trops.

Milo, IA(Zone 5a)

It does look like a poinsetta. How cool and she is going to bloom. I also thought that she wouldn't make it even attached to Mama, let alone bloom. Very interesting.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It is amazing, that it is still alive. Usually they die after being seperated from the motherplant.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

She is still hooked to Mother plant Monika,Tracey told me not to cut it loose,so I didn't.
Yep S_D,you will be fighting for garden space soon,I bet Tark buys a new tiller,LOL!

Belmont, NC(Zone 7b)

rootdoctor:
Are the flowers on the momma pale yellow or white?
Mother nature loves to throw us a curve, just when we think we know what we're doing.
HeHe.

That's really wild looking Root. I wonder if you have the first ever albino sport with a bloom?

Rock Hill, SC(Zone 8a)

Hi Root, did you do something special to get it that way?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Cool. I wonder if the bloom will get color. Sure would look great with a peach colored bloom.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Nope George, same as all the others.
Gretchen,Datdog had one sport and has a great colored bloom.I can not remember the name right now.
