Thank you, Delecie! Those are just my container plants! LOL. I have just figured out how to scan a picture (at work) and would love to post more pictures on the regular picture thread. I just have to wait until the scanner is not in use (and no one sees me playing on my work time). I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone else's gardens and watch for new pictures every day! It is so gratifying to talk and share with others who are "obsessed" (as my husband says) with gardening like I am.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Hi Terrie. Great to have you withus. Your plants look great. Ada

Love the great pics! It's always easier to remember the names if you have a pic to go with it...At least for me.. :)~

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Cute picture Donna. I've heard that the Alaska cruises are awesome trips to take.

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you, everyone. Gretchen, I know what you mean by being so excited you can't see straight! I was ready to be a grandma before they were ready to be parents! When my daughter told me she was pregnant, I had a really good cry.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Donna, that is a great pic! It looks like you had so much fun.

Terrie and Gretchen, I can't even tell you how exciting it is to be a new Grandmother! LOL I got my first last January and this little guy is a living doll. LOL Congrats to you both! And Terrie, very pretty plants and you are a lovely lady! (And you and Gretchen both look too young to be a grandparent.)

Trunnel I love your garden and you are stunningly beautiful, what all are the names of the things you have in your garden...might have to get some of those things for next year ...lol...

Rutholive (Donna) that is too cute, you're just as cute and sweet as the dolphin you stand with...:)

Shelly nice to meet you, your picture goes without saying, you are gorgeous and congrats on your new marriage. Great picture :)

There are so many of you I've only seen until just now and it's a pleasure to meet all of you.

RootDoc...you stud you !

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

BrugAddict, I am so blushing. How incredibly sweet you are! I have to admit that picture is dated -- was taken at Christmas three years ago.

The tree in the background is forsythia which is flaming yellow in the spring. Then different colias, caladiums, umbrella plant (that was transplanted from my grandmother's garden), vining geranium, pink petunias, light pink minibells, asparagus fern, varigated sweet potato vine, flowering tobacco, and the light purple flowers are an annual with soft fuzzy round heads but I can't remember the name.

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Your most welcome trunnels, The pleasure was all mine. What a great looking garden you have too...will consider those you listed if I can find them... lol, they are great choices and compliment your Angel so well.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Thanks to all of you for nice comments. I did have a great time and thankfully came back to a garden that my gardening helper kept wet enough in the very hot weather. Now we are having typical early fall weather.

Sure is great to see all those nice pictures of you people. Donna

Interesting photo to add

1974, Cypress Gardens, Florida. Me on the right, see, I have been a brug addict since way back

Whoa now that's a tree!!!! Dripping with blooms, that is beautiful Mary...You look about my age... very pretty, I can only imagine you've even gotten prettier over the years.

I'm having a great flashback of that year, halter tops, hip huggers (lower than the law should have allowed) and BoonesFarm Strawberry Hill...AWESOME!!!!! lol how neat, thanks for taking me back to the good ole' days :)

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Wowser! Hi Mary. I wonder how old that tree was/is?
Terrie

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

LOL, listen to us. LOOK AT THE TREE! (It was very impressive!). Neat shot, Mary.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

In 1974 I wasn't paying enough attention to plants to know a brug from a dandelion. But...I recognize the halter tops and hip huggers!

And...brugaddict...Boone's Farm Tickle Pink was WAY better than Strawberry Hill. I think a bottle of Tickle Pink would bring premium price on the open market these days. But it's non-existant as far as I can tell. :(

"Beach Baby, Beach Baby, give me your hand, give me something that I can remember...."

"The night Chicago died..."

"Midnight at the Oasis... send your camel to bed..."

"If you wanna get to heaven..."

Which ones am I missing? Name that tune!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I thought since we have more new people here that this one might need to be brought back up so we can meet face to face. Come on everyone.....post your picture.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

OK...This is me (center) with my DH Bob on left and my second cousin Gunther on the right. He was visiting from CO. and we hadn't seen each other in 30 years! Taken in my backyard this summer!

I don't like to take pictures or to post them, but since others are doing it here goes. The best part of the picture is my granddaughter Brooke, she is 19 months old. In the picture she was 14 months. That's where I am headed next Thursday morning at 4 in the morning going to Houston, so I can spoil her some more. I try to make it down there at lease every two to three months. It is worth the 10 hr drive to see her and of course her mamma and daddy. But I also love to see all the beautiful flowers. I love the crept myrtles, hibiscus and the tropicals they have. LOVE IT LOVE IT.
