Rosebuddy is acting strange

Silver Lake, OH(Zone 5b)

She is lethargic, and not cleaning herself much, not interested in treats, and when I go to pick her up she growls deeply and even might hiss at me - not angry - just warning me it's not comfortable for me to pick her up around her belly - no matter how gently. She's been laying around all day... not good..

I have an idea what it might be but how about some insight from other cat owners?

I think it's constipation - we used to feed a certain type of food and we switched to Meow Mix Hairball Formula, which they love, but now she walks about like she has a stone in her belly, poor thing.

I can't watch her in the box - our litter box is a kiddy pool down the basement with about 5 huge boxes of scoopable litter in it.
DH cleans it and I don't venture downstairs because of my knee.

This is my heart's delight cat - any insight to this?
Other things happening; we got a kitten, then got her spayed and now the spayed one is home and has attached herself to me.
Rosie used to be with me constantly but now seems to resent the attention the new little squirt Molly is getting because she is recovering from surgery.

The other female 4 year old, Mercy, is still hissing at the new cat..

Rosie doesn't want to play and usually presents her belly for petting but not in the past coupld days. This lethargy started when I took the little baby to the vet and brought her home but her lack of vim and vigor has been happening for about a month, slowly, imperceptibly...

I will probably be taking her to the vet if the hairball meds I gave her (the tube kind that she loves to lick) doesn't help her tummy feel better. Then if that is the problem, we will change them back to Indoor formula food and get some more cat grass to sit around for them to eat. That cat grass really seems to help and thank God a local health food store sells it for under $3.00 for a tub of cat grass for them to much.

Well thanks for your input and prayers for my Rosebud Kitty. She is the original sweetheart of my heart... the one that comes from wherever she is when I cry. The one who stayed with me throughout all the IV therapy and medical stuff... she is my little doll.

Thanks for your help.
