Gretchen, can you post an update of what your driveway looks like? When you first planted the brugs on that lovely curved driveway, I thought it would be stunning when they are all grown and blooming. Please post even just to give an update. I'm curious to see the wonder of it all.

Another Seedling is blooming
Amanda, that's okay! Now I have another brug that I "didn't have" before today!!! In looking at all the photos of the JR foliage, I see that it has a kind of wavy egde, similar to FP. Mine has that wavy appearance. My JP has smooth, very dark leaves, and I noticed today that my JP (purchased from Nestor) is finally putting on buds, so I'm looking forward to seeing the blooms.
I wouldn't complain either - Janet Reno is a great-looking brug and harder to come by than Jean Pasco. Sure hope JR wasn't named after the former attorney general tho :-P. I think we've all learned something about brug identification here (well, except for Kyle, who already knows everything :-)
MG -- Of course they don't all bloom at the same time, but here are a few pics from last month:
Edited to add that these brugs are all seedlings. Seeds started end of January, 2004. Photo as of July 20ish, 2004. Second bloom period for most of these. Gretchen

Gretchen thanks, your drive and gardens are lovely. I wish I had the space you do. Do you do walk abouts each evening to check out the plants, scents and admire you work? You should, it's well deserved.

Thanks Linda! Oh yes, I manage to get around it every evening and then again in the mornings to see what the deer have feasted on. Right now I'm chcking progress of seeds to capture and save. Gretchen
Looking great. You are so lucky to have so much room and so much energy!
Thanks Kell! Its gotten pretty scraggly looking -- dog days of August and all...hopefully next year it will look a little nicer :)
it is very beautiful gretchen , and it will be even lovelier next year
Thanks so much Amanda! If I could just keep the darn deer out of it all, it would be great LOL!
Looks nice Gretchen. I wish we had a few deer here to help clean up the tons of apples in my orchard.
Thanks Shirley -- I'd gladly ship all of them to you if I could!
I'll take some gretchen, my freezer is getting low LOL.
Heck, I didn't think about the freezer. We have tons of deer up here, but they have a lot to eat in the fields right now. Late fall they will come into the yard and eat apples.
Isn't that lovely. 7 points and nice colour. great photo. I can tell you get great enjoyment out of these great plants Gretchen.

Great picture. I love the water droplets on the bloom.
Thank you all!
Very pretty Gretchen
