Sounds like shades of Thompson and Morgan again. If you have plumeria, you can be Pam's friend. I should get a brug, we'll see. Got some seeds in a trade. Now to start them. Must go now and medicate the little Rascal, who probably needs a 400.00 nose job so she can breathe. Yeah, Echoe Ridge Animal Shelter.
Inanda's Lilies
Our threads get funnier by the day - maybe we could do a DG second city/garden. The non sequetors (ok I can't spell latin either) are killing me. What creature is rascal and why can't she breathe? Obviously not asthmatic - plastic surgery doesn't work for that.
Is this some wild creature caught eating your lilies - receiving a vicious blow to the snout and now receiving TLC for a righteous injury? I can imagine all kinds of gardening mishaps.
Rascal is the stray kitten that found us about a month ago. There is a thread that follows it all on Parking lot. I am starting to feel quite desperate about her health and my pocket book.
Don't mean to be killin you but yes, we do have some fun. Have to, to make up for the not so fun stuff.

I've been following the thread off and on echoes...
I know how to fix your pocket book Echoes. Put all medications into house/food budget.
It will never get noticed. vbg Lucky you are not married to a CA.
I used to dread Friday nights. After all kids were in bed, did weekly accounting. And it had to balance. Even things like library books overdue and visits to golden arches on way to hockey practice etc etc.
Inanda - too tired to do any more work outside today.
Think he'd notice if I fed him macaroni and balony for a few months? Maybe a few years. Course I have to give up buying plants too. So if I 'not buy' 400.00 worth of plants, that should make it up, right. I'll start on my shopping list right away.
Hey who all got an email from paridise (newbie member, non subscriber) wanting to trade plants?

Not me...what is she/he looking for?
Just says interested in my plants and has lots of perennials. Maybe I should check it out, now that I have to 'shop' differently. It's just that every so often I get emails out of the blue from members that I've never heard of asking for plants or trades and I was curious whether they just email everyone.
Probably the fact that you have a number of plants listed on your trade list grabbed paradise's attention. Speaking of which I will have to edit mine....all my water lilies are gone.
Well, you know, I don't have a trade list. I have lots of stuff - depends what you want.
All I really want are some rooted hebes - any kind -- it. I keep bringing bits back from BC and I can't get them to root. XXXX it again. And some bamboo. Keep bringing clums back and cant root them either. Think I'll give all specials to Echoes to root for me. She has great success.
And species lilies - bulbs or seeds. What do I have to swop? What do you want?
Guess it is good to not have a swop list. Then I don't get email from strangers. Well, Echoes was a stranger - once. And she nagged me till I joined DG.
Inanda
Hi, everyone...........It's meeeeeeee Paridise. Echoes, I just saw your list and my eyes were intriged with it, that's how I found YOU.
Take care, Ingrid
Well I'm glad you signed up. I don't always answer emails, but I see it can be worth the effort sometimes. Don't forget to mark the threads you want to watch, Ingrid. It makes it a lot easier to go back to them.
