Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Truly inspirational! I like how the tall plantings make a natural screen barrier around the front lawn. I may have to try that here!

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

Hey, your bed are really looking great this year. I specially like the Cynara, I must try it next year. Brugs are looking great also!
I think you have mentioned it before, but I have to ask again where do you overwinter these all?

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Love that Red Spire castor! You collect seeds and share? :-) Love anything bronzed leafed, especially with contrasts of lime near it. This is my first year trying them but I started way too late and they are all green! Can't believe how easy they are to sprout.
I just keep coming back to this thread, think I will just have to print out these pics to save them for early spring ideas.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kyle, your place is just beautiful. Like everyone else here, I love that canna. I'm beginning to think that maybe I better dig a new bed somehow, in the front part of the yard if I can find enough sun. Awesome pictures. That has been a lot of work to get put together. Your coleus are wonderful.

San Diego, CA(Zone 10a)

Wow in just a matter of few weeks when I last saw your garden and it just took off. Beautiful and your plants must be on super miracle grow! Inspirational.

the third pix which is the distance shot of your house is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! Do you have a source for the red spire castor bean? I have just the perfect spot to grow a gorgeous plant like that.
again, thanks for sharing your garden

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

OK guys, heres da scoop.! I do have seeds available of Red Spire castor.
The nieghbor is wealthy and has a few plants,so the house next door isn't available. LOL

All the plants I keep over go into the basement for winter in cool temps and low light.
I put granular fertilizer (10-10-10-) in the beds when I till them. Then miracle gro a couple of times during the summer.
Trish yu too can have a garden like this, Halaman can too.
The good thing is you two can leave your plants in the ground, I can't over winter. :-)

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

So maybe stamps for seeds??? LMK. I can mail them right away if you are on the address exchange as I am. Or is there a better time?
I should probably wait until early spring to start casters now right?

New Madison, OH(Zone 5a)

Eclipse.........Thank you sooo much for the red spire seeds!!
I know they will be beautiful next year!
Things are really starting to grow here. I will take pics soon!
Your gardens look wonderful! Thanks again....Marcia

Wow Kyle, that looks great! I had no idea so many tropicals would do so good that far north. A can understand why people passing by are so amazed.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Indigo..our summers are usually hot and humid......like Brazil..so we can grow anything..just can't leave it out over winter! :-(

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Kyle,if you see a fat gray bearded man with a shovel after sundown...DON'T SHOOT!!!!!!!
