Your pictures are great,Thanks for a tour!

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Will have to do more updates tomorrow, my per day limit has been reached :-)

San Francisco, CA(Zone 10a)

Nancy's revenge is a C. Esculenta; but, I think the leaf shape is wrong on 27 for it.

Usually on C. esculenta the lobes of the leaf at the back are connected behind the spot where the stem (petiole) meets the leaf. There is a technical term which I forget. Here is a picture though:

Note how the back leaf lobes on Sue's plant do not meet. They end at the petiole.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

eje, I thought there was something about that leaf that just wasn't quite right. The "starburst" in the center isn't quite right either is it?

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Calif-Sue, thank you for the pictures, they are stunning!

San Francisco, CA(Zone 10a)

I think number 2 might be Alocasia macrorrhiza, Upright Elephant Ear, Giant Taro, Wild Taro.

http://plantsdatabase.com/go/53227/index.html

Pretty sure Calalily is right about number 6 being a Dichorisandra, Blue Ginger.

The Lilies in 21 and 7 are a fairly common oriental hybrid called "Stargazer".

http://plantsdatabase.com/go/1427/index.html

The woman I share an office with at work got some in a bouquet for her birthday. They smelled good the first day; but, I had to ask her to take them home the second. They scent was just too overwhelming.

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Thank you so much for all the names Eclipse, sure you win!
I knew everyone here would be faster getting the names than me trying to look thru my books. I knew that was a Stargazer Lily too or at least a look alike, I had a huge 6 ft one outside that has such huge blooms, the stalk bent over sideways. Cut it yesterday and brought them inside, am about ready to take them outside, the fragrance is just overwhelming!

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

#23 is Sun Showers tropical hibiscus

Vincent, OH

Sue thanks so very much for sharing, it makes me want to get on an airplane and come out for a visit, but that will have to wait for awhile. I will be going to the conservatory the next time we go out to California. Thanks again for sharing!

Glad you enjoyed it Ruth! A visit there and the Botanical Gardens would make a nice trip.

I am not sure that is problem with the time, my first post is time stamped at 9:41 so I guess it sets by our computers and time zones...maybe? WIll try again later though.
