Reinstation of Tonny

Over a year ago, during the midst of a regular brug forum crisis, I removed Tonny from DG. That episode revealed that Tonny at least has some character and respect about him, and I appreciated his reasonability during that episode.

A few weeks ago some members requested that he be allowed to rejoin, and after careful thought, and now that the brug forum is starting to slowly return to normal, I have decided to comply. Tonny's knowledge will be a welcome readdition to this forum.

So, with that, welcome back Tonny.

Best,
Dave

Welcome Back by John Sebastian

Welcome back,
Your dreams were your ticket out.

Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.

Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've got him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

Edited for typographical error and to add smiley faces. :-)
:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Welcome back Tonny! Hi to Lene too! I know I am a lurker here most of the time but I sure learned a lot from your posts and I thank you for the knowledge you have freely given away.

Yippeeee!!!!!

Dave,
I can’t thank you enough for making this possible. Language is always rich, when we try to describe a thing or a course of events, but poor to express, what is going on in the heart. So, take this song from a man, which wants to thank you from heart:

Home Again
I've been many places
I've traveled 'round the world
Always on the search for something new
But what does it matter
When all the roads I've crossed
Always seem to return to you…

Old familiar faces
Everyone you meet
Following the ways of the land
Cobblestones and lanterns
Lining every street
Calling me to come home again

Dancing in the moonlight
Singing in the rain
Oh, it's good to be back home again
Laughing in the sunlight
Running down the lane
Oh, it's good to be back home again

The best wishes always
Tonny

Liz,
It’s so good to be back home J I enjoyed so much the picture that you posted of Starlight. You raised it well. Btw. Was B. aurea “Bert” x B. versicolor “Peach” one of your crosses? I got a few seeds and have a seedling growing here now. The aurea traits is dominant in the leaves, that is thick and serrated. I can’t wait to see it flower J

Ma Vie,
Are you still living out in the Californian desert? I missed you and all of you too. Do you still use the Alpha-Alpha pellets for your Brugs to take up more fertilizers? You post encouraged me to go get another sack of pellets and cross my fingers, that it will work miracles for my seedlings J

Doc,
I wish, that I could tell you more about the pigmentation on your Datura flower … do the newer flowers look the same? A cold spell combined with high air humidity during the night can cause a similar effect in B. suaveolens, but it is always temporary. Btw. I love the flower shape. It comes right close to D. meteloides D-48, which originated from a roadside outside Carlsbad in San Diego. Lovely foliage as well J

Michele,
No, I not that hard to get lol Liz are right about the time zones, though, but I was also logged in yesterday late night to check up on the newest posts. I have missed you too and its good to see you again J , how are things going in Cincinnati?
