Just took these this Saturday
Vixen
Lust. Unadulterated lust.
I do believe that you have caused me to be sinful. :-)
She is very pretty. How is she doing in the heat?
MY Gosh
It looks like red hot chilli peppers hanging there....
Two words for it.....OH..MY!!!!!!!!!!!!! or AWE>>>SOME! :-)
Gorgeous pic Tracey....
I'm very happy to report that my Vixen decided to grace me with few flowers. She is absolutely stunning. There is about 20 more buds that will pop any time....
The first three flowers opened last nite and were getting more color. They are much darker now. I was happy to see that they are very thick and shiny, almost porcelain looking...
Today it's 88 degrees and pretty humid. This plant is in full sun, flowers are closed but errect. I will take pictures later....
Thank you Tracey..... :)
Monika the heat isn't bothering her at all, and she does like the sun the more sun the darker the blooms. The color is very hard to describe on it.
Sorry bought that sinning thing...that is why we call her Vixen...
Whew, that is some color!! You were not kidding!
That is lovely.
Wow is all I can say. I think she keeps getting better and better.
I absolutely love this and I HAVE TO HAVE IT!!!! Wow Tracey, you must be loving it! How does she smell?
She stares intently as the drool trickles down her chin and collects on her teeshirt. She oggles in such a way as she rarely oggles. She sighs, wishing for such a beauty. Such things as dreams are made of!!!!!
'Covet not thy neighbors brug' LOL
AWESOME!!!! Such vivid colors. Where oh where can one of these be purchased?????
Mine would have opened its first bloom today, but the storm last night broke both stalks off at the ground almost. Actually, I think it was just so heavy with buds that it couldn't hold them anymore and the wind we had pushed her over the top. So, I'll wait until next year unless the one bud on a very small shoot from the bottom decides to open for me. I could tell the color was great.
Oh Brugie how heart breaking :-(
True, but she will bloom again.
Good attitude :-)
So will you try and root up more from the broken limbs/stalks?
You can order them here,

Oh thanks! I'll check that out.
Very beautiful! I love it!!
Bonnie
Brugie, will they open in water? Can you root the parts that broke off?
No, by the time I got to them, they were totally wilted. In order to try and save the big shoots, I had to strip every thing. They are still very flimsy feeling.
Very interesting beautiful color. Gosh Shirley, Im sorry to hear about your Vixen. You have such a good attitude. LOL I would be crying for sure.
Such a pretty color.
Is AngelsbyAshley a memeber here? Want to know when her page will be updated! I think that Vixen is the most beautiful brug I've ever seen!
Truly lovely Tracey, a color you don't often see. You must be thrilled with her.
Shirley, stick them in a glass of water and then into a damp plastic bag and close it, put in complete shade. It works for me every time something is so wilted and even shriveled I think it is goner. Soon you will have baby vixens running all around.
PS. LOL. I forgot the thread! TRACEY and SUSIE..........too die for!! I will send you some red pollen.

Vixen is beautiful. She reminds me of mouthwatering watermelon hard candy.
Very pretty ! Mine are all white, yellow and pink. None towards red yet. Course I could use Paint Shop. LOL
I am still waiting on Vixen to bloom(Texas brug killer here), but her sister Harlot sure loves the Texas heat.
