Nectarine seeds

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to start a plant from a Nectarine seed? If so, how did you do it, Thanks Bells31

Never tried but here's some encouragement. My sister found a little peach tree that had sprouted from a pit in her compost pile. My brother dug it up and moved the little tree to my mother's house. I'm not sure how long ago this was... probably 5 or 6 years... but this past weekend we were admiring the first little tiny peach fruits on the 8 foot tall tree.
