edited to say, oops, i mean ceanothus 'El Dorado".....
So i recently acquired these two shrubs at end of eseason sales; the ceanothus is actually a variegated, but I noticed today that it's actually half variegated. Specifically, the bottom half. I don't understand........could someone explain why it would only be half variegated?
Also, does anyone have experience with lilac Mt. Baker? When do you prune lilacs? Where to the flowers come from, the tips or further down the stems? Will lilac survive in sandy soil if it's planted with lots of peat and compost?
Help! Any and all help appreciated.
