can anyone tell me about this tree, I planted it last year, it is not very big but has huge leaves, I was told it is a fast grower, does it get any flowers, would appreciate any info you can give me.

Hmmm....I'm not familiar w/that tree. It's leaves look similar to a paulowania tree though. Could that be it?

if it is a paulowina tree do a yahoo search for pics of the trumpet shaped flowers.

does anyone know how you can tell if it is a good tree or what they call a trashy tree, I got this from nursery so I hope it's a good one that has flowers, also how old are they befor they produce flowers, thanks for any help

Kareoke what you have is a Paulownia Tree, and yes it blooms.

I planted a 3' Paulownia 5 years ago. It is now >30' tall. The flowers are quite pretty and have a wonderful smell. Supposedly, they are very invasive, but I have not pulled a single seedling up and it has been flowering for 4 years.
