Does anyone know what the problem is with this tree. It has been happening for the last couple of years & only affects the new growth. I thought it might have something to do with 'white pine weevil' & sprayed with Sevin as indicated on the Colorado State University Co-op Extension website. I know we have this problem on the very top of the tree where the main leader flops over & you see tiny pinholes. But I never see an insect or worm. We have two of these Blue Spruce in the backyard & the other one does not have this problem YET. If I am going to lose it I would like to get rid of it now & not wait until it spreads to the other one & the huge one in the front yard. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
