Anyone know the symptoms of carpal tunnel syn?

I've often heard of it and know it has to do with your wrist or lower arm but not sure how it starts or how it's cured.

Some weeks back I started getting numb fingers on one of my hands, usually the pinky and next two fingers. It was only doing it occasionally but now appears more often.

Seems to come on as I'm typing but also can happen when I'm carrying something in that hand.

It always goes away eventually.

Does anyone else get this? Think it happens from overuse of that hand (I type quite a bit on a daily basis).
