This is the first bloom on my vine. The mandivilla goes very well with it.

Very pretty Mary, and your right, the mandevilla DOES go well with it. And how nice to see the bloom holding itself open. So many of my Japanese MG's are so big and limp, they just lay all over themselves.

Mine usually fold over too but this one is pointing straight up.

Mary I can't remember if you sent me any of these or not, but it is beautiful! The only one I have blooms on so far is no Beni. I'm still keeping my eyes peeled for a chocolate silk for you!

Hi Angie, They would have been in the mixed pack probably. I planted the only chocolate seed that I had but so far no blooms. I`m not giving yp though. This one was from last years co-op that I was in. Sure hope you planted lots of the mixed seed.

I planted as many as I could! You sent me like 20 varieties! lol I think my neighbors are afraid if they come stand in the yard too long I'll plant a mg seed in their shoe.

Great Angie! I am looking forward to some beautiful blooms from you.

I got a chocolate silk Mary! Funny thing is it's not from your seed. lol Not all of those have bloomed yet, but I had some 'dwarf picotee japanese morning glory' seed from nathalyn that I planted in hanging baskets and one of them bloomed chocolate silk. :) I don't know if there is a 'dwarf' kind or if this is the real thing, but it's the same flower!
