Wax matches are common in many parts of the world but not so here in the US. Is there anyone who has them locally available and would ship some to me for cost and postage?
All I can find on the internet seems to be an entire shipping container full, from India. I don't want to go in the match-selling business, LOL. I'd like maybe 100-200 small boxes which would last me a couple of years. I do see some vintage boxes on ebaY but much too expensive, and too few.
For those unfamiliar with wax matches, they are NOT the wooden matches dipped in parafin used by backpackers and campers to keep them dry.
Wax matches are very short like our paper book matches, but the shaft is actually made of a twisted paper dipped in wax. They burn surprisingly long for such a short match.
