My outback needs a tree, I have
bushes and flowers but its in need
of a tree. Does anyone know if
weeping willows ever come in miniature
breeds? Like the style of the willow
but do not want a big tree. Any suggestions
of a small tree that would add to the
garden, provide some shade and not
become too big?
weeping willow
How about something like this.

Always fun spending someone else's hard-earned money!
just realized minimum order is
50 trees, would you be willing to
split them with me? lol
The pictures will help be
decide on what I'm looking for..

Harry Lauders Walking stick? Weeping cherry?
greta,
Ive seen pictures of the walking
stick, do you know how big it
gets? I'm looking for a small
tree, but some with some shade.
Some interesting info here.

WOW that is not for me....
looks like something that the
Adams Family would have...
I think after all the browsing
I've done on the web, I still
haven't found anything I like as
well as the weeping willow.
I just dont want it to take over
the yard and add too much shade.
But please, keep your ear to the
ground for me
thanks a bunch!!
Weeping Cherry would probably be suitable. Also Salix integra 'Hakura niskiki is graceful, and fast growing. I have one at lower edge of my bog garden and prune it heavily each spring to keep it from getting too large for the area. It has variegated white and pink leaves. I think it would stay at about 15 to 20 feet, giving dappled shade. Donna
