Not A brug

Wow. Those are gorgeous. I didn't know there were doubles either. Must get a few. Thanks for the links, David.

Great lily pics Linda and Sylvia! I can see where the addiction starts! I agree Linda, All Fired Up is so lovely!

I looked at David's link and OH MY! I can see you need a heavy purse for this addiction. My husband is very understanding but I think a few $100 to $200 lilies would push him over the edge!

Sherrylike, I don't know if there are any everbloomers. Most of mine bloom for a couple of weeks or so and that is it. I have a few that rebloom in the Fall, but none that bloom all the time. Sure wish I did though.

Sylvia, very pretty photos of your daylilies. there are a few that bloom more or less constantly. One of the older and more dependable ones is Stella De Oro, it is a yellow small flowered one.

David, I too have known both David and Mort for many years and met them several times at daylily conventions when i used to go. Have bought daylilies from them several times over the years. Thanks for Joiners address. Donna

Donna have you ever been to the gathering that the hybridizers have here in Myrtle Beach every November? That's how I met many of them.

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Same here, Kell! He tolerates my buying dirt and pots for my Brugs, but if I went out and spent even $100 on a daylily I'd be in the hot seat!

Well, there are plenty of georgeous $7 and under ones. With over 50,000 registered daylilies, you are bound to find many to love. Don't need to but the new intros, just wait a few years and they all come down inprice.

David no, I have not been to the Myrtle Beach area, but would love to there some time. I can't afford to travel very much now that I lost so much money in the Metropolitan Mortgage bankruptcy. My daughter lives in Fairfax, VA and I used to go to see her at least once a year but don't know that I will be able to now. I have quite a few buds showing now on the cuttings you so kindly sent me, so am looking forward to seeing them bloom. Donna

I just received an order of daylilies from Maryott Gardens. My order totaled around $100 for several daylilies, including shipping. They are absolutely huge fans, and they included bonus plants that totaled more than I spent on the ones I ordered. I've never had another daylily nursery do that. I highly recommend them to everyone who loves daylilies.

Gee David, look at what you started, lol! I just love that one!

I also have a double from them via Painted Lady. This is Savannah Sweetheart, unfortunately a bit past her prime due to all the rain:(
