It is so sad in some ways but we are so proud in other ways! We are exhausted! We were in the hot sun from 8:30 this morning till about 2PM.
My Baby is all grown up!!!
Wow, I'd say you guys did great with this guy. Now, after he gets through law school, he should be able to take care of you in your old age. LOL! Congrats to you all. Hope you take some time to rest up now.
Wooooooooooooweeeeeee! Very handsome and smart too! You don't normally find that in a man Kell! Tell him congrats from Oklahoma! Well done and best of luck through law school! Grab a glass of wine and go lay under your brugs and relax!
Tell him congratulations for me Kell, and congrats to you too, for being a good mom! :)
Congrats to all of you!
See Kell, all that partying he did paid off.
This is the same son who doesn't help with your computer??
You must have been the proud Mom today.
Oh thanks, friends. I was just IMing with him and got my last post in late! We have had guests since Friday and this is the first time we are able to sit and relax by ourselves. I should go out to water but my feet are killing me! I am not used to wearing heels every day! The kid is hosting a party tonight at a restaurant for his friends (we get to stay home but pay for it, LOL) and then we are done celebrating it!!!
Ah what a handsome lad, you must be so proud!
Congrats to you both:)
WOW, Kell, he is SOOOOOOOOO cute, I should say handsome, and he truly is, but, at my age, I can say cute, ya know??!! I can look/see that he's going to be a wonderful lawyer, I married one and raised a couple. Where is he going to law school???? I am so happy for you and your son!! While I'm certain it will never happen, if he should decide to come south, please let us know!!! SherryLikw
Oh Kell and Tom Congrats. What a handsome young man. He sure has done well and will go far. Remember Kell it's not an end but a beginning of a wonderful new life.
Congratulations to yall!!! How exciting!! YAY!!!!!!
Congratulations to your son kell!!! You and your family must have been grinning from ear to ear!
We are! Time flies by so quickly though. I can't believe he is all grown up. I was so lucky when he decided to stay in California for college and go to Stanford and be less than an hour from me. Now he will be so far away.
He is going to Columbia Law, Sherry. He is in the love with the idea of living in NY! He thinks he is going to live the high life there. He wanted season tickets to the New York ballet for his graduation gift! LOL. I told him he will be studying too hard to go! LOL
Kell,You have all the reason in the world to be proud of him, great kid!! I hope the best for him,I am sure he will succeed!
Congratulations !!!!! You must be so proud. I'm so happy for you. He's gonna love Columbia Law!
Kell, Congratulations to all of you, Such a handsome young man. Two of my children went to and graduated from law school. My youngest son practiced law for 5 years then decided what i already knew , that law was not what was best for him. He is a people person, now and for past 10 years has been with Amway Quixtar and loves it. My daughter graduated from Columbia and now is a Solicitor with the Dept. of Interior. Lives in VA and commutes 40 min. every day to DC.
So much good luck to your son, and again congratulations. Donna
Congratulation Kell and the entire family. u did a good job!
Oh Kell you must be so proud. He has taken a very heavy load to get 2 degrees at the same time. Congrats
Kell,
Thanks for sharing this joy with us. You've got a winner there.

Congratulations to Tom and his proud parents! Just think Kell, you'll have your own lawyer to bail you out of brug jail ;o]
Kell, he's so handsome. I know you are so proud of him. Congrats to all of you.
How exciting! Big congratulations to your family. I bet your sure going to miss him. Makes me sad for you, but I know they all must leave the nest.... Mine are growing up so quickly.
He is a very handsome young man indeed.... Congratulations to him and to you as well... He already looks like he belongs in a courtroom... or on Capitol Hill. And not many fellows would ask for something as wonderful and relaxing as tickets to the Ballet... You have something that is rare these days, A handsome and bright son with culture.
I would say you did good raising such a wonderful son.
LL
Kell, you have a very handsome, as well as smart, young man. I know you must be very proud of him. Maybe he will even be President someday, not that I would wish that on anyone though.

Thanks all! I think he is keeper! We just moved him home yesterday. He will stay here for a few weeks before he goes to NY. I am hoping he will help me in the garden. He has already offered to redo my yard. He wants to take out 50% of the plants. He hates the cluttered look! So I cannot leave him unattended! He and my husband together cannot be trusted.
Pati, it may work out if we work fast! LOL! He is between GFs right now but making moves on a new girl he recently met.
Oh how cute Kristi. I remember my first one going off to kindergarten. Was not a good day for mom. LOL!
Congratulations to all of you.. How wonderful.. they do grow up so fast.
I think we all can agree that the years pass by so fast as our children grow up. I am now finding that the years are going by quickly with my grandchildren. As they say, "time flys when you are having a good time."
Kell, I know that you and Tom are so proud of your son.Tom. After all, you contributed to what he has become today. Your guidance and examples have certainly had their effect on him.
He put in the effort to do well in college and accomplished his goals. I know he will do well at Columbia. Tom, no doubt, will fit in very well there and also excel when it comes to obtaining his goals.
Be proud of him, but also be proud of yourselves as his parents.
Congratulations! What wonderful accomplishments!! I know you must be EXTREMELY PROUD of him!!
Our oldest son graduated from the Univ. of Michigan in Ann Arbor, so I know how you are feeling....1st hand! All the excitment and being so incredibly proud of your son's achievements, but at the same time having mixed emotions because as they grow & mature....they spread their "wings" and leave the "nest". Except, we experienced it sooner, when our son decided to leave the East Coast and head to college, 10 hours one way by car!
Now, he has even spread his "wings" further! He is living on the West Coast, probably not to far from you!! So we have the OPPOSITE situation!!!! He is completing his Masters in Aerospace Engineering at Stanford, thanks to his employer (Lockheed Martin) paying for his graduate school. So we may be out your way in December for his graduation!!
As your son moves from the West Coast to the East Coast, he will make new friends, enjoy all the culture that N.Y.C. has to offer, and excel at Columbia's Law School! I can tell that whatever he sets his mind to, he will accomplish! Just think....one day you will be saying, "my son the lawyer" OR "my son the judge", and you will be bursting with pride, but a few tears will always remain in your eyes....because he will always be your baby! But you will know in your heart that you and your DH have done GREAT!!!
