My yard

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

Ada, that was beautiful. It's obvious what pleasure you get out of your gardens. I'm sure it was a lot of hard work to get them the way they are AND to put it all on the slide show. How long have you been at that property? Was there any garden when you started? What an achievement!

I see your heart and soul in that yard. Very nice. You did a grand job on the slide show to show it.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

The ONLY reason I haven't looked at your yard is because I'm on the world's slowest dialup. Cable is on the way, tap, tap, tap!!!

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Wow, beautiful. I loved it. Loaded very quickly for me, less than a minute.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

MG99, I move here in 1976 and it had always been a cotton field, or wheat field until I moved here. The soil was terrible. The topsoil had been taken off in prior years. There was no trees anywhere.

Donna, it's Oenothera. I hope that's the way to spell it. LOL

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Donna, you have mail.

Huntington Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Ada, got your mail and already looked up the Oenothera.

Thanks

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

Ada, your slide show is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I love your garden!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

You have been one busy lady! Beautiful job. Now that you have yours done, any chance you can make it here to help me? I have never been this long getting the yard done and I am very ashamed of my yard.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Sure Tracey. Send me a plane ticket and I'll be there. LOL

You may want to wait until I get over the fall I had last Friday. LOL I can't bend or stoop for right now.

Ada, I hope you get over your fall real quick. I can just imagine the satisfaction you must get from being and looking in your yard. Just awesome. Be well Ada

Ada, sure hope your back gets better soon. That's a painful way to start the summer.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks MG99 and Sylvia. I'm moving along like Granny Grunt right now. LOL

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Oh No! Not you too! Take care of yourself, bless your heart I hope you get to feeling better. I will try to save you some work, hehehe! Do I need to send my four year nephew to give you spiderman lessons too? He is currently teaching Mom how to stick to walls.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

My 7 year old GD, was just doing the wall walking tricks, fell and broke her arm! No swimming for 6 weeks! She had been told not to do it by her parents! Maybe it will be the last time for her!

ahelms...I hope you will be feeling better soon!

Whitewater, WI

So sorry to hear, Ada... :(

Hope you feel better soon.....

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Oh no Ada.....I sure feel for you! Last Monday, we took My Little Angel Xander (my first grandson) out for his first swim. I was so excited and wanted to watch him be excited about the water. Well....I put my left foot in on the steps and have no idea what happened after that....I landed with all my weight on my right foot on the first step of the pool! Ugh....it hurt so bad...and I really thought I had broke it. But, after limping around all week it is better and I think I'm ok! I do hope you get to feeling better soon!!! Everyone...look out and be careful! LOL We need to stay well to take care of all these brugs! Ada....I love your slideshow~!!! Very nice job!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Is this catching? I bent over yesterday to pull a volunteer tree out of a brug pot and a pain shot through my back. Didn't think I'd be able to stand up straight for a while. Babied it and I'm fine today. Ada, I hope you get back 100% real soon. Summer is a bad time to be laid up.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

I got a chance to look at your yard today at work Ada! WOW! Its absolutely beautiful! Loved the puppies, and was glad to see your Yorkie looking so happy and full of life. I absolutely LOVE NC! I know it sounds funny, but I just love how lush it is there, I miss it somthing fierce! I sure hope you get better soon!

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Oh Ada -- I sure hope you're back at it soon! What a bummer. You're in my prayers! Gretchen

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Great yard, good job. That's a lots of work.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks Gretchen. I'll be okay. I'll just have to watch how I move. I have too much to do. I can't get down. LOL

Thanks Ihughes and Shelly. Shelly, you'll have to come and visit NC real soon.

Brugie, I'm glad you're doing better. I'm still moving slow but I'll be okay. I really think I fractured my tail bone and may have to break down and go be x-rayed. LOL My hubby is fussing because I haven't gone but there's nothing they can do if that's what has happened. I know I sure hit that ground hard. LOL

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I hope it is just a bruise and not a fracture. Hang in there....and behave!! I'll sure be thinking about you and hope everything will turn out okay.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks all. I'll be fine. LOL I have to many plants to take care of and lots and lots of planting left to do. LOL

Brinda, I'm so glad you're doing better and it wasn't broken.
