My crazy cat was trying to cat a bird and plowed down my newest plant - a bellflower - cherry bells I believe. How can I root the broken 8" section - that was just about ready to bud?
Does anyone know how to root Bellflower

If the section has a few offshoots without buds, cut them off the main stem and pot them up in fresh potting compost, they should root.
If there are no offshoots, cut the main stem into about 3 pieces (take off the buds, they will drain the energy) and pot the sections up. Make sure you place them in the right way round *G* (bottom end of the stem in the compost). Rooting hormone might help too if you use it.
Thanks! I was getting concerned that I wouldn't get a reply. I'll do this tonight. It's been in water since the cat ordeal.
