Hardy Plumeria

Art_n_garden, Love your family picture by the way. Do remember to post a picture when it opens:-)

Here are some of my Plumeria seedlings. Sorry the picture is so dark. I think I have around 40.

How do you propagate a plumeria? I have one that I baby like it was a human invant. If I had an ICU I would have it in an incubator.
Mine is two years old and just getting leaves after its dormancy. I use Schultz's fertilizer whenever I water it. I cannot wait for it to bloom. Seeing all of your pics of a bloom makes me nuts.

Maggienile, the easiest way to propagate a plumeria is by rooting cuttings. Cuttings root easily. When you propagate by cuttings, you will have a genetic duplicate of the parent plant. Plumerias often form seed pods when they are larger trees and when the flowers are pollinated by a pollinator. They can be propagated by seeds also, but they will not come true to either parent.

Maggienile, check out the plumeria forum for more pictures!

Terry, can this thread be moved to the plumeria forum?
