lol = lots of laughs or laughing out loud. However you want it, it pretty much means the same thing.
My dear hubby (DH) thought it was funny, after learning this language from me a few years ago, when his partner got an email, a very important SALE email, but she put in it "LOL" and Mike didn't know what it meant and freaked out. I told Russ, (chuckle chuckle........) to tell him it meant "LOTS OF LOVE".
Poor Mikey was beside himself, for days, embarrased........
hee hee........ it was fun.
what should be my first ones?
Karrie, you can be soooo naughty sometimes! LOL I bet when Mikey found out what it meant for real he was just a tiny bit upset. LOL
P. The slumber party sounds like fun! Maybe a bar-b-que to go with it and everyone that comes has to bring a brug for you to keep. I know I have some now that I could share.
I just posted for ya Pondi on the Jokes & Forum - I'm sure you'll find it. Yoou BET I can be fun once in while! I think that's what keeps me sane through the problems I'm having right now.
No Boys?????
;0(

Paula....I'm thinking of packing my bags soon! LOL I would love to be there!
And could we make an exception for Rooty-Tooty? I really think he should be allowed to join in! LOL (But I think he should have to be a blonde though!)

Sarah
ROFL... this thread has 53 replies and !!!730!!! views! Gotta be a record for Dave's! LOL DG members skeptical, maybe... but starstruck... DEFINITELY! LOL I'm not knocking anyone, I'm here too, right?! haha
Sarah
How can you tell how many views it has, Sarah? I thought the # didn't show anymore. At least I can't see it. LOL
THANKS
Kell,
If you go to "Skirtz" member page, and click "View threads started by this user" then in the list of threads, the number of views is shown :)
Sarah
Ohhh. LOL. I see. But most show zero. I wish that feature would come back. THANKS Sarah!
Kell- You're right... that's weird... I thought it might have to do with when the post was started... like, it didn't start counting on threads began after the removal of the hits feature. But that doesn't seem to be the case... I don't know. Also, it doesn't seem to be related to the number of hits, I saw one with 1 view, and one with over 1000... weird... Sorry I couldn't be of more help :)
Sarah
I think Dave keeps playing with it. *spatting his hands, "leave it alone, Davie, we like that feature"*
I agree, the number of views was always interesting to see.
To bad they stopped using it ;-(
At first I missed it but then I thought it could make a poster feel bad, all those views an no responses. Oh the humiliation! LOL
Good point, Sue!
Actually Sue, I think it would be worse to have no views and no responses. Then you know you are really boring. LOL. I think there are are so many Davers on here that never post or just post to a few of their friends. At least you would know people were looking.
Yes, Kell, you are correct. Thing is, it's good to know the numbers viewing a thread, so that one's posts might be directed to all, rather than a small group that had no idea they were having company...
