Well I am a beginner and I believe I will have quite alot of questions on these bushes. I planted 4 bushes last Friday and when the sun set it brought with it some very severe weather. The area that I planted in flooded and was literally underwater all night and well into the next day. I have since fixed the flooding situation and am curious if the excess water on the day of planting will affect future growth? The bushes seem to be doing quite well, I actually think I see new growth already.
Any suggestions on future care?

Your bushes should be fine if now allowed to dry out a bit before the next soaking. :-)
They are a very hardy shrub/bush.
