Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Kell, would you like to see how pink it can get in SC? Another little "snip" on the neighbors plant might keep it trimmed up :)

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Kell, you can email me her address, Margie & I will come by and help prune. :-) I believe San Jose is in need of a couple of Pink Butterfly brugs so we can truely evaluate that color in nearby growing conditions, just on a trial basis mind you of course. ;-)
Sigh....

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Sue is right....have pruners will travel ! Will prune for cuttings!!!!

San Jose has no Pink Butterfly brugs that I know of!!

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

I'd love for some of mine to end up a dark pink or even an orangeish red! If you want to share some of those seeds next year, please put me on your list, Kell!

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Kell, you can add me to that list of "have pruners, will travel". It really is a gorgeous brug!

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Very Very Pretty, whatever color it is I like it. It is on my list also. I enjoy your photos very much.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks Busybee!

Margie, I actually cut you one and now I can't remember which cutting it is. I do this all the time. I think I will remember so I don't label it and within hours I have no clue! You would have to share with Sue!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Put on my list always love to see all your photos so great.

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful Kell!

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Kell my BF that you sent me last year bloomed late. The bloom color was very pale pink. I wintered it over and repotted it this spring. I have a bloom on it right now. It'a a very rich pink. It's beautiful.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Can we see a pic Kristi?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Oh gee, Kell. Send me a cutting to grow in NC. LOL

Ozark, AL(Zone 8b)

This is Butterfly a couple of weeks ago in the afternoon in z8b. In the heat it gets darker higher up. I have pink beauty, pink favorite, rosebelle, rosa traum, ep, blush, and a couple of other nice pinks, and to me, none surpass butterfly yet for deep color and plant vigor combined with long tendrils and good fragrance. It's very easy to root too. Understandably, it's usually the favorite of anyone that has it. The ONLY thing I don't love about it is that it's usually as floppy as a deflated balloon during the day. I hope this doesn't look orange, because it isn't at all in real life.

No, doesn't look orange, beautiful deep pink, my favoite of all the pinks so far.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Ada, your Arborea is in bloom here! LOL. Everytime I look at it I think of you and my failings. It is the only brug that will bloom profusely at under 1 ft tall! Hey, I may surprise both of us! LOL

Gee Krsiti I wish I knew which BF I sent you. Mine at home is very pale right now, never got this dark. This one is not at my house but at a friends. The flowers are also much bigger at my friends. I am in love. Post a pic. Please.

Well Kell, I'm glad it's blooming. LOL

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Mine gets very dark. It is my favorite pink so far.

Paxton, FL(Zone 8a)

My butterfly is very dark, but the bloom doesn't open as full skirted as some others, so it doesn't look as impressive to me. Is there something I need to add so make it open more?
