I can't get over this one. It is so much darker than the the one I have at my house. It is much darker than the pictures!
I tired and tried to get the correct color but it was just too sunny out.
Are your Butterflies really really dark?
Wow, Kell. What color!
Looks good.
I like that color! pretty!
Is it planted in the ground? There could be a difference because you plant in pots. Sure is pretty, but it looks orange, not deep pink, on my monitor. I wouldn't mind having one that bloomed that color. Very Pretty.
That's really beautiful. I'm just a beginner ............ does heat or cool temperatures darken the colors?
Kell, color is a bright deep orange on my monitor. Would love to have one that color in my yard. Donna
Nice color KEll,very dark orange on me screen,I would like that color here,Pot or Ground?
Oooo kell that is so pretty color different, I like it.
It's a melon color on my monitor.
Yes mine too color is Melon in my monitor.
Well, you all need new monitors!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO It is PINK PINK PINK PINK. LOL! No, it really is. A very deep pink. The kind dreams are made of! The sun is shining right on it.
This is at my friends, a big bush in the ground. It is unbelievable. As the next flower opens it gets darker. I just know if I bring it to my house it will bloom light. If it were not so far away I would go down and get a pic at night to capture the real color. I just love it.
So much better than my Butterfly!
is this pic more pink?
I just bought a month ago flat screen monitor so... so pretty another picture still the same color.
Same color as before, think it might be because of the sun shining through it.
Do you have yours' at home in about the same location, sun, shade etc. as this neighbors? Mine is deep pink, in a pot, semi-shade.
well Kell... it sure has orange tint. nothing to do with my monitor either LOL! it is orange in color.
Beautiful Kell! Wish I had a scratch and sniff monitor!
Well then Redrose, you just have to take my word for it! LOL
I have a Rosamond in a pot that has about 50 blooms on it. I think I will pollinate each one with pollen from this brug.
I have high hopes!
Just what makes that little old ant
Think he’ll move that rubber tree plant
Anyone knows an ant, can’t
Move a rubber tree plant
But he’s got high hopes, he’s got high hopes
He’s got high apple pie, in the sky hopes
LOL I believe you what you ask really Pink Pink Pink but my minitor not show pink =o( but ok still beautiful Brug =))
Oh thanks Tracey. I have never seen such a deep pink brug. I keep wondering if it is all the scrap metal in the dirt.
Gloria, mine at home is an alley tree in full sun. I would take a pic but it is recovering from severe mites. It has about 50 small flowers and hardly any leaves. I should really pick off all the flowers until it recovers. The flowers are an OK pink but not dark at all. Even before when it was mite free.
Sorry Kell, but once bitten by the "Frosty Bug", it will never go away. Melon color is not so bad!!!!!!! I must take a pic of BF tonoght.
Very beautiful, but sorry to say, it looks like what I would call CORAL on my monitor! Maybe it is the sun. Can you shade it and take another picture and post it sometime, kell?
Take a big cutting from neighbors' plant, see if it is the same color in your yard, when it blooms.
We have already started a regular, every 3 week, spraying for spider mites. Will use Avid last 3 times before bringing everything inside in the fall. I know they will be here, they always are, just when everything is ready to bloom. Hope to get a head start on them this year.
Wow! Its gorgeous, Kell! I would call it an orangey-pink, deep melon... I love it. Gretchen
Great picture Kell!
I wasn't going to take a cutting but there is a big fat shoot coming up the middle that has my name on it! I just did not know it. LOL.
I will try to get more pics today that are PINK!!! LOL. I LOVE PINK!!!
Thanks Monika. What color is Butterfly where you are? You get the real dark colors. Thought it is a RK X Ocre cross isn't it? So it can have orangey genes in it. But no one has ever said Butterfly is orange before that I have heard.
Butterfly has a deep Pink over here. It is a RK x Ocre cross.
To me, it has looked orange only at first sight or it was because I knew, it was supposed to be Pink.
It's very orange on my monitor as well.
It is the hottest Pink I've seen in awhile here, but a very dark color for Butterfly. I'm waiting on mine to bloom but from what yall have posted in the past this one does look really deep Pink.... :o)
Dee
Kell, I know what you're saying! Mine is that color almost exactly, I think even darker--it is dark pink but I do see the orange undertones in it. I thought this is the way it's supposed to look. Also, the duller the day, the pinker it looks to me:)
My plant however, was recently given to me an is still in a pot half buried. And y'all will just have to believe me for now--still no camera :(
Beautiful, Kell Great pics....
Tho I think the only way for me to truly see the color is if we transplant it in my yard. :)~
OMG Kell... lol I love your brugs and your pictures.
Looks pink to me...must of been the sun adding the yellow to it in your other picture!
PINK, PINK, PINK!!! LOL...........
Pinky Pink Kell!!!! Too bad the bloom is not on one of yours&%^$#$%^.
Now that's pink. Wow.
What can I say, I'm speachless. Is that really Butterfly? I MUST have one.
Aaaahhh yes I see the Pink Pink Pink Kell so beauty, I am sure you will be happy to hear what I say. ;)
