Everything is fine....at least I think it is. We didn't have high winds, so nothing should be broken. Sure glad I mowed the dtiches and the back yard today though. Might be a while before I can mow again.
Brugie?
In the General Discussion forum Langbr has headed to the basement, the warning sirens are going.
Oooooops Brugie...I think you sent it our way tonight! My kids and I spent almost an hour hauling everything into the garage tonight! They are saying baseball to softball sized hail heading this way in an hour or two! Ugh.....I wish all this would go away so all the flowers and brugs could bloom...and bloom and bloom!!!!
That scares me Brinda. Sounds like it could leave your place and come this way. Hope everything will be okay.
Glad to know all is OK with you, Shirley.
We have had a lot of rain and electrical storms but no hail up here as well as no tornadoes.
But they are certainly all around us!
These storms do tend to make one a little edgy.
Last night was a bit scary. We ended up with a little over 3 inches of rain.
Lost my duckweed out of one of the ponds that was full before the rain. My DH, was trying to pick it up off the ground today, if you can imagine that. Duckweed is so tiny.
Thankfully, no other damage and all of us were home. Some of the rivers are out and you can see where the water was bank full on the creeks.
Those were some nasty looking clouds.
Wow Deb, you got a bunch of rain. We aren't all that far apart and we only got about 9 tenths of an inch. It was a wicked looking night. I was ready to go to the basement at any time. Glad you are okay. Hope Ted didn't work to hard at getting the duckweed picked up. Before summer is over, he will be tossing it out as fast as it grows.
Glad to hear you all are okay down south!
I'm glad everyone is ok. We complain about a little earthquake here!
Back2back: Umm, a Little Earthquake. LOL.. I'll take a good ol' Thunderstorm anyday. Believe me, we have small earthquakes here too. Just not as often as you do.
