My new passion is brugmansia and old roses. However, I love everything variegated, philodendrons, cannas, EE, tall growing heliconia, gingers, gardenia, jasmine, lavenders, sages, hostas, ferns, vines...heck anything that smells or looks beautiful in the yard for full sun or full shade. I'm easy.
I'm easy to please. I have the yarden as a hodge-podge cottage garden. Part is full sun , mostly 1/2 sun !/2 shade. I like blooming houseplants, vines, delphiniums, and anything that smells good! Lou
I'm easy to please. I have the back yarden as a hodge-podge cottage garden. Part is full sun , mostly 1/2 sun !/2 shade. I like blooming houseplants, vines, delphiniums, pond plants and anything that smells good! Lou
I'm easy too. Heheh! I love succulents and perrinials of all kinds. But I have strict orders from the other half, No Cactus!
Flowers, Shrubs, whatever. I live in the desert so keep that in mind as in gets pretty darn Hot here. My succulent collection I keep in the house.
I think that this is going to be a blast! Can't wait.
I also like heirloom irises. I have lots of purple and blue so any other color would be great. I'm also looking for the large elephant ears.

My newest desire is lilies. I love vines/climbers/ferns. I like strange and different plants and bright color.
Don't need any more hosta or canna. I've already been through that addiction. :)
The only thing I wouldn't realy want is a brugmansia.... not that I don't like them I have to many now
I'm easy to please. I have a small yard some in sun and some in shade.

I'm pretty easy also. I love any Iris, Daylilies (no orange), Lilies, and any sun loving perrenial plants. I don't have much shade so I don't have room for those beautiful Hostas. Nancy
This year i seem to be going full throttle in to vines. Problem is i seem to be running out of places to put them.
I also am interested in lilies (oriental, trumpet and asiatic), butterfly plants, hummingbird plants and the newer brug releases. I JUST realized I have a shady part of the yard, lol.

I am really into natives, so any shade or sun native would be great. I've also just gotten in to plants with lime green to yellow leaves. For shade, besides natives, I love epimediums, toad liles (would love to have the variegated), hardy primrose, ferns, hostas, etc. For sun, I like anything except tropicals (although I do grow a couple brugs). I just don't have the space to overwinter them. I also don't do houseplants. My house is too dark and then I forget to water them. :-(
After last winter, I am very interested in getting hardy plants. I'm interested in plants for butterfly and hummingbird gardens. I also started a pond this spring. I can't send any pond or bog plants but I do have some tropical water lily seedlings which are very tiny. (Just in case I get somebody with a pond) :-)
I think I have enough irises.
Sheila
Anything hardy in my zone that is perennnial is great.
I love astilbe, columbine and am in need of other shade plants.
I love irises, daylilies (I am collecting both) I also really enjoy salvias, lilies and dahlias.
Although not required, deer resistance is always a plus.
I am not too hard to please -- as long as it is hardy to my zone I will be happy! :)
PS -- I have loads of obedient plant and I don't like lambs ears.

Alyssum
are you sure...I also have tons of obedient plant and thought you said I should dig it all up and give it to you.......LOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOL
My wish list is......
EVERYTHING new I see.......
my trade list is here at Daves....
Pretty much everything on it I have too much of.....
I have an addiction to tropicals.....but am truly rooting challenged....I kill cuttings ....quick
I like to try plants that are borderline hardy here......
plants that I covet right now are
black mondo grass
colorful tropical hibiscus(no red)
purple fountian grass
tropical waterlilies
black wisteria(I killed the cuttings I tried)
variegated EE's
variegated anything....LOL
hardy orchids( any)
trailing flowering maples
fragrant flowers
i am easy. i love hosta, daylilies, ferns, anything that is usual. my yard is part shade, part sun. belinda
I just love plants! I have just begun to get interested in hydrangeas, brugs, and southern type peonies. I like irises, clematis, azaleas, roses, agapanthus, cannas, althea, daylillies, crinium, amaryllis, hosta, ginger, salvia, african violets, plumeria, cupheas, bougainvilla, houseplants, and the one plant that I really covet is a yellow clivia. Jenny
I love to try all kinds of new things, but I really like unique flowers. I love penstemons, salvias, foxgloves, or anything with a pretty flower. I have a rather small garden, so the one thing I cannot handle is anything that gets big. I am also not into tropicals anymore, which means no EE’s or cannas please. I would appreciate no daylilies too.
I would just love a piece of your garden to add to my “Garden Friends Garden”. Over half of my gardens are from all of the trading I have done on DG or other sites and I love to show my friends the plants that people have shared with me over the years. Many of the plants are ones that most people out here have never seen or grown.
Edited to add...I don't care for grasses much.
Oh…and I love to push my zone, so send whatever you want. Lol
Donna

moretz
LOL --CC -- mine has really multiplied in one year. . . thank goodness it is so pretty!
I am zone 8b/9a hot, humid coastal south. I don't want anything that isn't hardy here, because I already have too much that I have to bring in during the winter, so it has to make it outside.
I have mostly part sun/part shade. I don't have all day full sun anywhere.
I am just starting to get more daylilys, so some different ones would be nice. I also like Louisiana iris. Crinum, hardy hibiscus, ears, bananas, most other subtropicals, too.
I also would love to expand my clematis, because I have found that they do pretty good here and get a nice size after a year or two.
I have been lusting for an evergreen wisteria (not chinese wisteria), but that may be hard to come by.
I do have a pond, but it is a small one and not room for much more except a floater or two, maybe a lily or some water lettuce.
I don't do roses, they are way too fussy for me.
Gretagreta, you actually have a garden pallette???? I not nearly that talented or artistic, so any color is fine for me.
I have been trying to figure out a wish list--so here goes:
Kim's Mophead coneflower
Kim's Kneehigh coneflower
Blushing Bride Spiderwort
Astrania of any kind
Solomen's Seal--the tall kind
I have full sun and also shade and maybe too many flowers. Anything I get from this trade, I will like, I will plant it and be happy. Thanks! Sandy If I don't have it listed, I am in zone 5.
Well... I just posted to hopefully "PLAY" too.
I'm in zone 7
I have lots of shade
Lots of part sun
Very little full sun (all day)
Woodland garden
bogg
pond
& lots of regular flower beds
Just got hooked on Brugs, but love all flowers, plants, grasses, shrubs. I have 4 acres so I'm not limited on space.
The spots I have been working the hardest on are my Woodland garden (Shade) I have been adding hostas & ferns & other shade loving plants.
& a Mom Memorial garden, where I'm putting mostly perrienals, her favorite color was fuschia or bright pinks. It gets 1/2 day of sun (mid day) I have roses, Poeny, Iris (dutch), Hawkeye (orange, looking 4 yellow) Daylilys, Cone flower (pink), Lavender Bee Balm, a few Orential lillies , & different groundcovers growing there so far. Not doing only pink there though. I just remembered, I have been seeking a Blue Sky vine for some time now. So pretty much anything!
