Does anyone know where I could purchase these shrubs? I want the choisa ternata, known as the "Mexican orange" variety. I've been looking on the web and can only find them in the UK or Australia/New Zealand but no luck in the US. I am in NC zone 8. Thanks for any help.
choisya ternata
Welcome to DG, tootle ;o)
Here are some mailorder sources for Choisya ternata (I think "Mexican Orange" is the common name, rather than a variety or cultivar):
Forestfarm: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/25/
Avant Gardens: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/13/
Bloom River Gardens: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/426/
Camellia Forest (in Chapel Hill, but they also do mailorder): http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/298/
And here's a list of NC mailorder nurseries that sell ornamental trees & shrubs - I didn't check each of them for this plant, but there are just 15 of them if you want to browse through their online catalogs/plant lists: http://gardenwatchdog.com/advanced.php?state=nc&country=XX&category=24&search_text=&sorter=company_name&submit=Search
Many thanks for the quick reply Terry ! Obviously you know more than google ! ;)
